Anne Curtis "not allowed" by GMA-7 staff to perform at kick-off party of USTv Awards

ABS-CBN star Anne Curtis was supposed to perform "Someone Like You" at the kick-off party of the USTv Awards earlier tonight, November 10. But according to her, she was not allowed by GMA-7 staff to even go onstage.

May nangyaring kaunting kaguluhan sa kick-off party ng USTv Awards ngayong gabi, November 10.

Ang USTv Awards ay ang taunang parangal ng mga estudyante ng University of Sto. Tomas para sa pinakamahuhusay sa larangan ng telebisyon.

Sa kick-off party ay nagdala ng kanilang mga artista ang tatlong major networks ng bansa—ABS-CBN, TV5, at GMA-7—upang maghatid ng kasiyahan sa mga estudyante at guro ng pinakamatandang unibersidad sa Pilipinas.

Isa sa Kapamilya stars na dumalo sa kick-off party ay si Anne Curtis.

Nang dumating si Anne sa UST ay nag-tweet agad ito sa kanyang personal Twitter account.

Excited na sinabi nitong magpe-perform siya nang "live" sa harap ng Thomasians.

Ito ang dalawang magkasunod na tweets ni Anne:

"Text by Madlang Thomasians!!! I'm heeeerrre! Will be performing for you guys LIVE at the USTV Kickoff party!!"

"Maloloka kayo as kakantihin ko. Dream ko ma-complete ang song na to LIVE and finally I'll do it tonight! Super nervous!!!!"

Pero makalipas lamang ang ilang minuto, sinabi ni Anne sa kanyang Twitter account na aalis na siya.

Hindi raw kasi siya pinayagan na umakyat ng stage ng "GMA staff."

Sabi ni Anne, "Thomasians, I'm sorry I had to leave na. I tried to at least get up on stage and say hi kahit 2 minutes lang but GMA staff didn't want.

"Thomasians, I was there on the left side of the stage & told them kahit d na ako kumanta babati Lang ng Hi and Hello but GMA Staff said no

"I really had to leave na kasi... Hope you all still appreciate the effort I made to go to the campus and I even prepared a song."

Ang "Someone Like You" ng British singer na si Adele raw sana ang kakantahin ni Anne.

    GO ANNE..you're still the real winner...we look forward for your coming shows,,,we will support whatever will happens... just ignore all the negatives or criticisms against you..just ignore it.GOD knows of what they are doing... more power to you...

    itong mga fans ni baba maol edukada at bastos, wala yatang good manners and right conduct ang mga eto, o nalalimutan na nila ang pinag aralan nila, sabihin na lang ninyo sa idol ninyo, maghubad na lang siya ng maghubad kasi dooon lang papasukin kung may pelikula pa siyang gagawin. At hindi gayagaya ang GMA.. pwede ba. Tama yung isang ng comment dito na pera pera lang yang dos, baon na din yan sa utng kya nga lumalaki ang bills natin sa Meralco, kasi naka alalay yan sa dos, sympre corporation yan.. hay sana pray ko lang magkaroon ng ibang mag distribute ng mga kuryente natin.. wish ko lang po

    pasalamat na lang ang USTv audience at di na mababasag eardrums nila sa ganda ng boses ni Anne Curtis.hahahah! the height din ng babaeng ito na kumanta.umakting ka na lang day.ibalato mo na lang sa iba ang singing kasi nakakarindi boses mo.

    Ang daming single-minded na tao dito. Bago nyo i-criticize ang GMA network or si Anne Curtis, isipin nyo naman yung both sides ng situation. In my opinion kasi lahat sila, GMA, Anne Curtis, and the organizer, may mali. Syempre organized na yun eh hindi naman porket mas sikat yung isa dapat na sya pag-bigyan. Pero sana nung sinabi ni Anne na kahit two minutes lang pinagbigyan na sya para walang gulo. Pero may point din naman ang GMA kasi sinabi na sila na yung susunod. Mali si Anne sa pag-tweet ng paulit ulit na parang pinalabas nyang masama ang GMA. They had their own reasons and yung organizers talaga ang magulo. So please lang, no one's right or wrong here and wala naman maitutulong yan mga hate comments nyo.

    The fact is, the event organizers screwed up. Otherwise, no one would have waited for hours before they could perform. If the organizers told Anne about her time to perform, I presume that the other artists were also told about their respective turns to be on stage, hence some of them were at the venue way before Anne arrived. Unfortunately, the organizers did not honor the programme that they themselves make. Anne had a reason to air her side, but the GMA staff also had a reason to do what they did, as well as reason to respond to Anne's tweets because it was them who were put in a bad light. The problem with this rather trivial issue is that it once again bolsters the ridiculous network war. It once again gives the network fantards to go after each other's throats, spreading their myopic brand of logic wherever they can.

    hindi ba't sumunod lang din naman si anne sa schedule na binigay sa kanya? look. she will be performing 7.30 pm.. so kung yun ang nasa schedule, yun talaga yung sundin kasi db artists ahve their appointments and i think anne is that professional to follow commands.. i jus don't get the idea panung sya pa ang masama dito.. just weird.. she just followed orders.. hindi naman sa mas SIKAT sya kaya pinauna db? me sinunod na time dun.. and even the organizers took that into consideration..

    It's NOT about who's the bigger or more important star, it's about having the discipline to stick to an agreed schedule or programme. It's about respecting everyone's time regardless of their popularity or lack of it. It's about treating everyone fairly and equally, regardless of their box office records or network affiliations or whatsoever reason.

    bakit ba si anne ang pinapasorry nyo ha? she was supposed to perform by 7.30 and andun na sya beforehand.. kung yun ang time nya mag perform, eh di dapat sundin yun? despite the line up? well, alam naman nating sikat sya at marami syang commitments other than that.. yung time na yun, na specify before pa.. meaning, yun ung time na binigay nya or nung organizers because yung lang ung pwd sa schedule nya.. kuha nyo? kaya nga kahit late pa nagsimula yung show, dapat sundin yung binigay na time kung kelan magpeperform.. ewan ko ba kung bakit ang hirap unawain yun..

    Hay naku, gusto kong subuan ng buong santol ang babaeng ito ng mabilaukan at mahimasmasan, feeling nasa cloud 9 ang kanyang kasikatan.Hoy Aning na malaki ang bunganga sinumpong ka na naman ng kabliwan kaya ka nagkaganyan.Sayang kang bata ka wala kang disiplina at hindi ka pala propesyunal.Kung gusto mong magtagal at irespeto magbago ka iha.Wag mong ipagmalaki na kinukunsinti ka ng management ng DOS, think it more.....dami ng big star ang may sama ng loob sa istasyong iyan....Miss Nora A., LT, Maricel S. at malamang si Megastar susunod na.Mukhang pera kasi sila,,,,supalpalan ko rin kaya ng pera itong si Anne curtis para lalong lumaki ang bunganga.

    Matanda na ngang iskul itong ust wala pang pinagkatandaan. Hay naku. Longevity na lang ba ang kayang ipagmalaki ng uste na pati simpleng event organizing eh di pa matutunan. Kung sikat ang priority nyo sa event nato, invite na lang nyo ang abs dahil feeling sikat ang mga tao dun kagaya ni anne. Therefore, u should title your event ust and abs party only. Mas malinaw na at everybody knows where to place themselves. Ang nagagawa ng kasikatan, lumalaki ang ulo at ang paa lumulutang sa lupa. Bwahaha

    Isa lang dun sa la diva, lalamunin ng buo si anne. Hehehe. Meaning, singing is a different banana from acting. Sa acting, mga quotable dialogues lang at expression sa mukha pwede na. Singing ibang level dahil nasa puso at talent to teh.

    Thomasiansorganizers asan ang boses nyo? Anne has her shares of box offce records in movies at super super gold award sa sales nya sa kanyang music album. Kaya ang feeling nya, she has the right to be treated na parating una. Lumaki na ang ulo ni anne. Alam kung sinong nagsasabi ng totoo. Itanong kay santo tomas.
