When Rosanna Roces made a comeback through the second installment of Maging Sino Ka Man, entertainment reporters noticed that she lost a lot of weight compared to her figure during her previous projects, before she took a break from showbiz.
Some reporters speculated that the former sexy actress might be using drugs again, a rumor rife during the peak of Rosanna's career.
Osang (Rosanna's popular name in showbiz), defended herself in an exclusive interview with The Buzz aired yesterday, January 27.
"Ganun? Noong tumaba ako, nagda-drugs ako?" the puzzled sexy actress asked.
She then belied the rumor by explaining, "Alam n'yo, kung nagda-drugs ang tao, hindi nakaka-acting, hindi nakaka-memorize ng linya, di ba, at tatlong araw kayong maghihintay sa set."
And to prove speculations wrong, Rosanna stated, "I'm so healthy. In fact, I'm so into the right [diet] ngayon."
Rosanna does not let herself be affected by rumors anymore. She said, "It's not a factor sa buhay ko. Kaya yung mga nanggagago sa akin, mananagot sila sa Taas. At saka yung karma, good luck sa health nila."
Could this positive approach on rumors is caused by her active lovelife?
Rosanna admitted that she has a new inspiration, but hesitated to reveal the guy's identity. She just gave a little hint to The Buzz.
"Tumaba ako noong huli akong na-in love, 'no? Ngayon naman, nagpapapayat. Payat, e. Ano ngang pangalan nun? Secret. Mas bata, mas bata sa akin, artistahin, mabait," teased Rosanna.
Meanwhile, Rosanna also clarified that she was never axed in Maging Sino Ka Man. She said that she will not appear in the said teleserye for a while based on the script, and not because of the alleged misconduct in her work.
She further explained, "Ano yun, e, mag-aasawa ako ng ano, hari ba yun, sa Saudi. 'Tapos magpapayaman ako for a while."
The sexy actress then told the The Buzz reporter, "Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit naniniwala ka sa mga taong walang kredibilidad."
Rosanna confidently said that she never did anything bad to her co-actors during their tapings for the said teleserye.
"Hindi ako affected kasi ginawa ko buong-puso ko ang trabaho ko. Kahit na ano sa legalidad, wala akong ginawang masama. Lahat naman ng mga artista topakin, e. O, kung topakin ako, e, di respetuhin n'yo din, napapagod, e. Pero wala akong sinaktang tao," argued Rosanna.
