Ito ay ayon sa inilabas na official statement ng Malacañang kaugnay ng naging viral photos ni Kris kahapon, April 20.
Sa naturang mga larawan, makikita ang bunsong kapatid ni President Benigno “PNoy” Aquino III na naging lulan ng presidential chopper.
Noong una, inakala ng netizens na ang presidential chopper ang ginamit ni Kris para pumunta sa campaign sortie ng Liberal Party sa Cebu.

Subalit ayon sa lumabas na ulat sa website ng Pangulo, kasama ni PNoy si Kris sa ginanap na inauguration ng 59-megawatt Solar Power Plant sa San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

Pahayag ni Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr.: “Members of the President's immediate family are allowed to ride with him in official government vehicles.”
Sa nailathalang artikulo sa memebuster.net, ipinakita rito ang larawan ng mga taong gumamit ng presidential chopper papunta sa nasabing inauguration:
“Below is a picture taken in the landing zone in San Carlos Economic Zone. And these are the people who took the choppers.”
Nakasaad din dito na, “From San Carlos, the choppers flew to Dalaguete and then the LP traveled on road to Argao, Cebu.”
