Maine tells jealous Alden, "Huwag mo na lang akong tawagan."

A phone caller named Jake is causing tension between Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza.

It all started on the January 4 episode of Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye. Jake called to talk to Maine about their report in school.

On the day that used the hashtag #ALDUBNewJourney, Alden walked out and locked himself in a room, ignoring what Yaya Dub was saying about Jake.

On January 5, Alden surprised Maine by visiting her in the baranggay. He wanted to celebrate their 6th monthsary in advance since he would be in the Middle East.

During the #ALDUBComplicated episode, Alden did not hide his feelings when he heard Maine talk to Jake on the phone.

Alden said that he would be gone for a week and Maine exclaimed that it was too long.

He pointed out, "Yung ibang nagmamahal, taon ang hinihintay."

At this point, AlDub was asked: "Nagmamahalan na ba?"

The January 6 episode showed that Maine got upset because of the jealous streak of Alden.

During their phone conversation in the #ALDUBONLYYou episode, Alden was vocal about his jealousy.

He asked Maine to not go out with Jake who was going to treat her because of their high grade in school.

She raised her voice and told him on the phone, "Kung ganyan ng ganyan, huwag mo na lang akong tawagan. Lahat na lang, e. Si Jake, yung singsing. Ano sa susunod? Pati pagkain ko pagdududahan mo?"
