The wait is finally over for those who have been eager to see ƿthe Manila run of the hit musical Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Hamilton will open at The Theater at Solaire in Parañaque City on September 17, and ticket prices have just been revealed.
Prices for the Hamilton Manila Run
A maximum capacity of 1,740 patrons inside the Theater at Solaire will be seated in three sections: Orchestra, Premium Gold, and Balcony.

Ticket prices for the Manila run of Hamilton start at PHP2,645, while the most expensive ones are at PHP8,464 or PHP8,993 (depending on the date).


Pre-selling of tickets begins on April 17, but the general public can get their tickets starting on April 24 at 11 a.m. through Ticketworld.
UnionBank cardholders as well as Citi credit cardholders have an exclusive booking period from April 17, 10 a.m. to April 19, 11:59 p.m.

After this window period expires, those who signed up for the Hamilton Waitlist can still buy their tickets until 11:59 p.m. on April 21.

ABOUT THE MUSICAL
The musical Hamilton which is sung and rapped throughout, was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who based the lyrics and script on the 2004 book Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow.
It is about the American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, who is best remembered for participating in the American Revolutionary War, and being instrumental in ratifying the constitution of the United States.
Hamilton had its Off-Broadway debut in February 2015 at The Public Theater, before moving on to the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in August of that same year.

It later won 11 Tony Awards, including those for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Choreography, and more.
The touring performances of Hamilton visited Chicago in 2016, North America in 2017, and subsequently the West End in 2017.
Seven Laurence Olivier Awards were given to the London production after its December 2017 Victoria Palace Theater debut.
Sydney Lyric hosted the Australian production of the musical in March 2021, which was eventually forced to suspend performances three months later in June.

The Australian tour concluded in Brisbane in April 2023 after performances resumed in October 2021.
After eight years, Hamilton has found its way to Asia, making its premiere in the region through its highly-awaited Manila run.
