The 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Beauty and the Bestie has already reached the P400 million mark.
Star Cinema AdProm Manager Mico del Rosario revealed this through his Instagram post earlier today.
He thanked everyone who watched the action-comedy film starring Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, James Reid, and Nadine Lustre.
The ABS-CBN executive indicated that the Wenn Deramas movie is in the No. 1 slot when he wrote: "Thank you sa inyong lahat! Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Beauty and the Bestie! 400 million. Thank you sa inyong lahat Kapamilya for making us Number 1! Maraming maraming salamat, thank you thank you thank you for the love, salamat po talaga!"
The MMFF Executive Committee previously reported that My Bebe Love was No. 1 in the box-office from December 25 to December 27.
At that time, My Bebe Love earned P159 million while Beauty and the Bestie grossed P131 million.

However, Star Cinema says that Beauty and the Bestie was able to overtake the movie of Vic Sotto, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza on January 2.
In a report aired by TV Patrol last January 4, it was indicated that the four top-grossing films (in order of box-office returns) are as follows: 1) Beauty and the Bestie, 2) My Bebe Love, 3) Haunted Mansion, and 4) Walang Forever.
The report also said that 80% of the box office returns are being dominated by the two leading films.
The other competing entries of the 41st MMFF are (in alphabetical order) All You Need is Pag-ibig; Buy Now, Die Later; Honor Thy Father; and Nilalang.
