Janella Salvador and Marlo Mortel reunite onscreen for Regal Film's Mano Po 7: Chinoy.

Janella Salvador and Marlo Mortel reunite as a love team for Mano Po 7: Chinoy, which is topbilled by Richard Yap.

The MarNella tandem started shooting last week for Regal Films's new movie directed by Ian Lorenos.

The photos were shared by Janella's handler Beth Rivera through Instagram (@bettybeth4).

Marlo also posted his picture on Instagram (@marlomortelmusic) during his first shooting day.

Janella and Marlo's official fans club MarNella Fever also uploaded behind-the-scene photos on Instagram (@marnellaofficial).

Janella also shared scenes with Kean Cipriano while her character learns to play the cello.

During the August 4 story conference of Mano Po 7: Chinoy, it was revealed that Janella will play Carol, the second child of Wilson Tan (Richard).

She will fall in love with her music classmate, portrayed by Marlo.

Janella said in a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she is excited to reunite with Marlo onscreen.

It can be recalled that Janella's first movie with Regal Films is Haunted Mansion wherein she figured in a love triangle with Jerome Ponce and Marlo.

The said 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry became one of the top-grossers in the annual movie fest.

Other cast members such as Jean Garcia and Jake Cuenca were also able to shoot their scenes for Mano Po 7.

As previously announced in the story conference, Jean will portray Deborah, the wife of Wilson who will have an extra-marital affair.

Jean and Jake shot scenes in a jewelry shop, since it was mentioned during the storycon that Deborah runs a jewelry business.

Also part of the cast are Jana Agoncillo, Jessy Mendiola, and Enchong Dee.

Regal Films plans to submit Mano Po 7: Chinoy for consideration to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.
