Mocha Uson is named to the country's censors board.

Sexy dancer-turned-blogger Mocha Uson is now officially a board member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

According to Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Mocha was appointed on January 3, 2017.

Andanar was quoted by Philstar (@PhilStarNews) as saying that Mocha Uson "is one of the biggest artists we have in the country."

Last December, Mocha Uson became an ambassador of the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.

She was appointed by Tim Orbos, current acting Chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and MMFF 2016 over-all chairman.

When the blogger-turned-newspaper columnist was named MMFF ambassadress, some netizens reacted by proposing a boycott of MMFF 2016.
