Maja Salvador brought her singing to a whole new level through amazing performances in her Only Maja concert.
A number of fans flocked at the Music Museum in San Juan City, on Saturday night, November 12.
Though Maja was dubbed as the “Dance Princess of the Philippines, the ABS-CBN star showed that she’s not only a dance diva but a multi-faceted star.
This is the actress’s third major concert following MAJ: The Legal Performer in 2014 and Majasty in 2015.
The former FPJ: Ang Probinsyano co-star opened the night with her original hit from Maja Believe titled "Halikana," which features hip hop artist Abra.
After her opening number, she can’t help but express how overwhelmed she was by the turnout of fans at the event.
This was the second time that Maja filled up the Music Museum.
“Umpisa pa lang, gusto ko na magpasalamat."
She emphasized, “alam niyo kahit hindi niyo ipagsigawan, sobrang ramdam ko yung pagmamahal niyo.
“Mula po sa puso ko, maraming salamat."
She asked her fans, “maganda ba ako sa personal?”
The Kapamilya star gave her own rendition of Selena Gomez’s "Hands to Myself," "Good For You," and also song popular love song "Till They Take My Heart Away."
Maja’s version of "Let Me Love You" got the concertgoers grooving. She was joined by friend Enchong Dee.
After their song-and-dance number, she asked him, “Bakit ganon, nung first concert ko sa Music Museum, naka-topless ka. Tapos nung Majasty, naka-boxer shorts ka. E, anong nangyari ngayon [referring to Enchong’s long-sleeves attire], too much eating?”
Maja mentioned that close friend Rayver Cruz was supposed to guest in her concert, but had a prior commitment.
The fellow ASAP mainstay also sang one of his songs from album EDM titled "Hanggang Dito Na Lang."
Maja’s seventh song "I Won’t Give Up" by Jason Mraz was dedicated to Star Magic chairman emeritus Johnny Manahan.
She expressed her gratitude by telling him, “Seriously, thank you for not giving up on me. From the start, Museum Music, MOA Arena, tapos dito sa Music Museum, ayaw akong pabayaan ni Mr. M.”
Mr. M (in blue polo shirt) and Star Magic head Ms. Mariole Alberto were present to show support for the Kapamilya talent.
The actress-dancer’s best friend in showbiz Kakai Bautista also shared the spotlight with her that night.
The moment Kakai stood beside Maja, she asked, “bakit ka nagco-concert sa Music Museum? E, tuwing nagko-concert tayo dito, iniiwan tayo ng lalaki?"
The two then teased about each other’s past relationships on stage.
She later admitted, “kaya nga, na-friendzone. Bakit ka emote ng emote, ako dapat ang nage-emote, kasi ako nga ang na-friendzone! Ano masaya na kayo?"
The Dental Diva added, “buti pa yung kanta, nare-revive ko, young puso ko hindi ko na narevive."
She then gave the concertgoers a heartfelt performance of Jolina Magdangal’s "Kapag Ako Ay Nagmahal."
The two sang and danced to Sia's "Cheap Thrills."
The Star Magic artist went on to perform her songs from Maja - In Love including "Bakit Ganito Ang Pag-ibig,” "Love Me, Kill Me,” “Dahan-Dahan,” and “Haplos."
Halfway through the concert, the Dance Princess welcomed another guest. This time, the ladies swooned over It’s Showtime’s Hashtag members Nikko Natividad, Jon Lucas, Tom Doromal, Paulo Angeles, McCoy de Leon, Jameson Blake, Luke Conde, Ronnie Alonte, Ryle Santiago, and Jimboy Martin.
The all-male dance group is celebrating their first anniversary in the industry.
Hashtag Ryle thanked everyone, “gusto ko po munang magpasalamat sa lahat, if nanonood kayo ng Showtime everyday or napanood niyo kami at least once, thank you for supporting us."
Before she introduced her next performance with David Guetta’s “Titanium,” the former teen star recalled how she fought against bashers.
In every concert, there must be a first time.
Maja showed that she definitely has the moves in tap dancing, with Britney Spears’s “Toxic” as her background music.
As treat to concertgoers, Maja performed for the first time the theme song of her upcoming film I’m Drunk, I Love You.
She was surprised to see her leading man Paulo Avelino who came all the way from SM Novaliches where he held a grand mall show for The Unmarried Wife.
The Kapamilya actor, admittedly came unprepared, sang along “Huling Gabi” with Maja.
In an interview backstage, the night’s star revealed that her guests weren’t final until that night itself.
That was why she’s not sure if Piolo Pascual can make it. But he did.
The crowd sang along as Maja and Piolo grooved as they performed The Chainsmokers’s hit “Closer.”
The two were cozy on stage, as Maja teased the Kapamilya heartthrob, “sino yung kasayaw mo sa Star Magic Ball?”
It will be recalled that Piolo and Shaina Magdayao had a sexy dance video taken at the 2016 Star Magic Ball that became viral.

Before Piolo left the stage, he told his fellow artist how she became an inspiration to a lot of people.
“Congratulations. Marami ka pang pupunuing venue. And just keep doing what you’re doing.
“You’re such an inspiration not just to me, not just to them, but in so many people around the world.
He added, “isa ka talaga sa mga tinitingala ko, sa mga hinahanggaan ko, because you never stop reaching heights, milestones, and breakthroughs.
"So just continue what you’re doing because you’re on the right track. God bless.”
Maja then made a plea to producers: "Nananawagan po ako: gawan niyo kami ng pelikula please."
She turned to Piolo and recalled, "Nung unang concert, sa Music Museum, sa MOA, tapos dito. Hindi mo ako binibigo. Siguro type mo talaga ako."
The audience screamed as Maja laughingly said, "Ang kapal ng mukha!"
Maja confessed that Piolo’s appearance in her show came a bit as a surprise.
After the concert, she told the reporters, "alam ko dapat out-of-the country siya or may shoot din siya.
“Pero hindi ko alam kung anong miracle na nangyari at nandyan siya.
“I’m so happy na binigyan ako ng Diyos ng mga kaibigan na tulad nila na todo suporta.”
The dance floor diva also showed her skills in pole dancing.
She did some “buwis-buhay” stunts with Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” as her music.
Maja danced the night away with OPM songs “Urong Sulong,” and “Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso,” and Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling."
Right after her successful concert, PEP.ph along with other reporters were at the backstage to greet Maja.
Teary-eyed, she told the people, “ayaw nilang maniwala na tapes na."
On what she’s feeling, she said “sobrang happy kasi hanggang ngayon marami pa ring naniniwala sa talent ko, sobrang sarap ng pakiramdam.
“I feel so blessed, at tsaka thank you kay Lord sa talent na binigay niya, madam akong napapasaya. Iyon ang pinaka’importante.”
For those who weren’t able to watch her live, she asked them to "pray na meron pang mga magpo-produce at para makaulit tayo ng concert.”
“Tiwala lang na magkikita tayo.”
