Kim Chiu and Xian Lim to star in 2015 teleserye; Xian pulled out of Bridges

Kim Chiu reveals that her 2015 teleserye with Xian Lim is based on a Wattpad story.

Xian Lim will no longer be part of Bridges, the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye that was supposed to star John Lloyd Cruz.

JLC was initially tapped to topbill Bridges along with Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador.

At that time, JLC was in the middle of negotiating his contract with ABS-CBN.

As a result, Xian was chosen to replace John Lloyd in the upcoming drama series.

In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last November 11, Xian revealed that he already started taping for Bridges.

“Nakakadalawang taping day na ako," he disclosed.

“I'm really excited to begin with the soap.

“Laking pasasalamat ko sa Star Creatives dahil pinagkatiwalaan nila ako for this project.”

However, a source from Star Creatives recently confirmed that KimXi (the tandem of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim) will have to prioritize a separate teleserye being developed for them.

Yesterday, December 15, Kim divulged details about her 2015 soap opera with Xian.

During her guest appearance on Kris TV, Kim revealed that their teleserye will based on a Wattpad story.

“Sobrang light lang, tapos galing siya sa Wattpad story,” said Kim about their project that is expected to start taping by January 2015.

Kim also reveals that she will be doing “secret projects” with Star Creatives.

TV host Kris Aquino kept on insisting that one of the secret projects could be an album.

"No," clarified Kim. "Basta secret project.

"Basta marami silang aabangan sa 2015.

“Yung one super dream ko talaga 'yon.”

As for the second secret project, the young actress says, "Parang ano lang, okay lang, pero nakakakaba."

Kim and Xian recently starred in the film Past Tense with Ai-Ai delas Alas. Kim also starred in the Kapamilya primetime series Ikaw Lamang with Coco Martin as her leading man.
