Piolo Pascual is indeed returning to ABS-CBN.
On August 2, 2021, Piolo is seen in a Zoom meeting with the executives of ABS-CBN, based on an Instagram story posted by Dreamscape Entertainment head Roldeo "Deo" Endrinal.
Dreamscape Entertainment is a content providing unit of ABS-CBN which produced Piolo's last teleserye, Since I Found You, in 2018.
Present in the Zoom meeting are other ABS-CBN executives: TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, Scripted Format head Ruel S. Bayani, and Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory V. Vidanes.
Also in the Zoom meeting are Lulu Romero, Piolo's Star Magic manager, and Cornerstone Entertainment President Erickson Raymundo.

PIOLO PASCUAL'S COMEBACK AFTER TV5 STINT
In October 2020, Piolo joined TV5's Sunday Noontime Live, which went head to head with ASAP Natin 'To and was directed by Johnny "Mr. M" Manahan.
Mr. M is the former director of ASAP and head of Star Magic.
However, the noontime show got canceled in January 2021.
Piolo then took a break from doing TV projects.
On July 11, 2021, Piolo was seen in a taped video presentation aired in ASAP Natin 'To to commemorate the first year of ABS-CBN shutdown.
Piolo said at the end of his message: "I'll see you soon."
In his interview with Cinema News on July 24, Piolo confirmed that he is returning to ABS-CBN.
He said, "I'll be back home, for sure, pagkatapos ng mga meetings, for sure.
"Just to put this to rest, I'm not going anywhere."
