GMA-7 has released the music video version of its 2021 Christmas station ID on November 12, 2021.
It took almost a month for GMA-7 to release the music video after the network first released the lyric video version on October 17, 2021.
Titled “Love Together, Hope Together,” the song was performed by Kapuso singers Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, Christian Bautista, Maricris Garcia, Aicelle Santos, Anthony Rosaldo, Mark Bautista, Hannah Precillas, Jeremiah Tiangco, Jessica Villarubin, XOXO, Thea Astley, Garett Bolden, Arra San Agustin, Faith Da Silva, and Lani Misalucha.
Since 2017, Julie Anne—tagged by GMA-7 as Asia’s Limitless Star—has been opening the theme songs of the Kapuso network’s Christmas IDs. It was after she single-handedly performed the Christmas station ID’s theme song in 2016.
The music video featured Kapuso A-Listers, teen stars, and veteran drama and comedy artists like Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, and new Kapuso Bea Alonzo.
However, there were also noticeable absences like Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, First Yaya leads Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion, as well as newly signed Kapuso actor John Lloyd Cruz.
THE MUSIC VIDEO
In the nine-minute music video, some of the interpreters were no longer shown except for Julie Anne, Rita, Christian, Aicelle, Mark, and Lani.
The music video focused on Kapuso artists and news personalities who were present to shoot the station ID, where they were seen together doing good deeds to ordinary people in different places and situations.
There were also scenes where some stars did their parts from their respective homes.
GMA News pillar Jessica Soho, just like in the past years, opened the music video with an introduction about the challenges that Filipinos had gone through in 2021.
Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, and Alden Richards followed in finishing the introduction.
Bea Alonzo, who joined a GMA-7 station ID for the first time, was the first Kapuso artist to be shown after the introduction, where she was shown buying Sampaguita from a sidewalk vendor.
STARS OF KAPUSO PROGRAMS DOING GOOD DEEDS
Some of the stars who participated in interacting with different groups of people were grouped according to their TV shows.

This is Kris’s comeback in a GMA station ID after she was absent last year and joined TV5.

These include former Kapamilyas Kim Atienza, Atom Araullo, and other news personalities like Raffy Tima and Howie Severino.
