Rita is currently single but she has been linked to three men: Julian Trono, Alden Richards, and Ken Chan (her current love team).
When asked if she rejected Julian, Rita replied, “Kasi ako, mas prefer ko yung mature guys.”
Rita admitted that there was a time when she and Julian were not talking, but they've remained friends since.
In an interview with PEP.ph on November 19, 2014, Rita revealed she and Alden had a "mutual understanding" during their stints in One True Love in 2012.
Asked why their relationship did not turn serious, Rita replied, “[s]iguro it’s not meant to be. I mean, mas okay.
"Kung ako rin, inano ko rin ang sarili ko, mas okay din na friends kami kasi kung na-push yun, siguro baka hindi kami okay ngayon.”
On the other hand, in an interview with PEP.ph on November 27, 2021, Alden denied any mutual understanding with Rita.
He said, “[w]ala naman pong courtship. We were just very close.”
Alden also clarified in defense of Rita, “[h]indi naman po nag-assume, siguro overwhelmed lang siguro siya sa feeling na…
"Baka na-overwhelm siguro nung itinanong yun sa kanya, in a very much positive state of mind siya, kaya nasabi niya iyon."
The three-year tandem of RitKen has been going strong.
Can their reel love team turn to real, their fans want to know.
She said, "Like kahit thirty percent lang? Or sige bawasan natin, ten percent. Na-in love ka ba sa akin?
"Just for that moment where you felt na, 'Nothing's gonna stop me na parang kami lang yung nandun sa mundo na yun?'"
Ken said, "Yes, mga seventy percent, hindi one hundred percent... seventy percent dahil hindi pa talaga ako ready pumasok sa isang relationship.
"Kagagaling ko lang sa isang mahabang relationship na umabot ng three years."
Ken told PEP.ph, smiling, "Sabi nga namin ni Rita, pagdating namin ng 40 years old or 35, pag wala pa kaming partners in life, tayo na yun for sure."
