Star Circle Quest season two alumna Paw Diaz is going to be seen again in an acting project.
She is part of the Singaporean web series titled Asian Billionaires, headlined and directed by YouTube personality Annette Lee.
Paw, who placed second runner-up in Star Circle National Teen Quest in 2005, is now based in Singapore.
Aside from Paw and Annette, also part of the project are Singaporean actors Amy Cheng, Gurmit Singh, and Benjamin Kheng.
Paw first posted about the project on Instagram on February 11, 2022.
On March 9, Paw posted a poster of Asian Billionaires and announced that the project premieres on YouTube on March 11.
In her caption, Paw thanked Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana, who was instrumental in her participation in the series.
Paw wrote, “Mark your calendars!!! I am so thrilled to be a part of @annettelee’s debut web-series ‘Asian Billionaires’ and it is dropping weekly starting this Friday, March 11 at 6PM on her youtube channel

PAW'S ACTING COMEBACK
Asian Billionaires serves as Paw’s acting comeback after 10 years.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) through Instagram Direct Message on March 10, Paw gives details about the project.
According to Paw, Asian Billionaires is a mockumentary “about a billionaire family in Singapore navigating their rich people problems.”
Paw plays the role of Yana Maria del Rosario, the domestic helper of the Swee family for over 20 years.
She says about her role, "Yana is a no-nonsense street-wise mother figure to Max [Benjamin Kheng] and Victoria [Annette] while loving them as if they were her own children.”
Paw also reveals to PEP.ph that Dimples Romana was originally cast for the project.
Due to the border restrictions of Singapore and Philippines, and her ongoing commitment to another project, Dimples referred Paw for the role.
Paw recalls, “She reached out to me because she knows I am now based in Singapore, and asked me if I am still acting or if I am interested to be acting again.
“Then, she shared my contact details and Annette’s team reached out to me and shared the script and it went on smoothly from there.”
PAW REVEALS MISSING ACTING
Paw was last seen in ABS-CBN’s prime-time series Maria la del Barrio. At the time, she was still in the Philippines and was not yet married.
She reveals to PEP.ph that she has missed acting and knows that it will always remain in her heart. This is why she decided to give it a try again.
It also helps that the series was short, so Paw was able to balance her schedule with her full-time job as financial analyst for business institutions.
Paw tells PEP.ph, “It has been 10 years since I last did an acting project and acting is something that will always be a part of who I am.
“It is a short series and when I read the script, it seems so much fun to do. It’s a light, feel-good mockumentary and I immediately felt that I want to be a part of it.”
The former Kapamilya actress admits, however, that she had self-doubts since it had been a while since she last did an acting job.
“But, of course, at first, I still have self-doubts but I know I will always try to do my best.
“I do have a full-time job and the team was very professional and understanding with the schedule and did try their best to accommodate.”
While Paw enjoyed her short acting stint, she still prioritizes her full-time job.
She says, “I do love my current full-time job and lifestyle. To consider more acting projects, of course, I will [but] it really will depend on how the universe will unfold its plans for me and if I can accommodate the schedule. Haha.”
Paw is a product of Star Circle National Teen Quest with Erich Gonzales as their batch winner.
Some of her projects in the Philippines include Qpids (2005) and The Substitute Bride (2010).
Paw is now happily married and has three kids.
