Pahayag ni Direk Mark: "If they don't like the show, then I can't do anything about it.
"I don't do the show for them, I do the show for someone who likes the show.
"You know, I will do it for those people who likes to watch the show, not like those who don't.
"As simple as that, not only for Voltes V: Legacy but in life, kasi why will you please someone who doesn't like you, di ba?"
Dadag pa niya, "So, just do your best, try to please as many people as you can without stepping on anybody, and that's the attitude you take especially like this."

Kuwento ni Direk Mark, "Mostly in this kind of project, may ilan na kaming ilalagay na given [artists], parang we would like to have this certain person and add for the series.
"Tapos si Miguel, you know Miguel is given for Steve, everybody else ay nag-audition.
"Even the... not only for the character of Steve, but from Zardoz [Martin del Rosario] down to other characters."
Wala raw silang ginawang special treatment mapabago o batikan mang artista dahil sa kagustuhan nilang maging maganda ang kalabasan ng Voltes V: Legacy.
Sabi ni Direk Mark, "Lahat yan ay nag-audition or may selection.
"Kumbaga, yung selection, hindi man sila mag-audition because we all know already their capability — let's say for Doctor Hook, ang mga choices are Neil Ryan Sese and many more — in that we see who will work well and then we try to composite them with the costume to see how they look, ganun.
"So, most of them went through the audition process."
