ABS-CBN is about to launch its newest teleserye, Iisa Pa Lamang, starring Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo, and Gabby Concepcion.

The producers of Iisa Pa Lamang aim to frame this teleserye like a movie in terms of the story, set design, lighting, editing and cinematography. To prepare for their roles, the stars underwent workshops to further enhance their acting abilities. During a press conference held at Roberto Antonio's Flower Shop in Quezon City last Friday, June 27, Claudine shared anecdotes regarding her scenes with her co-stars.

"We have a scene where she [Melissa Ricks] needs to slap my face," says Claudine. "Hindi niya alam kung paano sumampal ng hindi masakit pero matino." As they went through the scene, Claudine started giving her advice. "'Wag tatama sa tenga kase masisira yung eardrum...dahil sa impact."

Melissa was at first uneasy shooting the slapping incident with Claudine. But the actress assured the teen star when she said, "'Wag ka mag-alala kasi trabaho ko 'to. Matagal ko nang ginagawa ito." She even paid Melissa a compliment because of her effort. "Sa mga bagong artista... yung mga kapatid sa industriya, nakikita ko yung eagerness [nila] to learn."
