Former TV5 talent Chanel Morales will play Cassandra in ABS-CBN's top-rated drama series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Former TV5 actress Chanel Morales is set to make a guest appearance on ABS-CBN's primetime drama series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Earlier today, August 30, Chanel shared her photo with cast members of the Kapamilya series including lead actor Coco Martin, Yassi Pressman, Elisse Joson, John Prats, Mark Solis, Lester Llansang, and Michael Roy Jornales.

In her tweet, Chanel revealed that her character's name will be Cassandra. Other details about her character is yet to be revealed.

Chanel just started taping her scenes of the Kapamilya series. Last Monday, August 29, the former Kapatid talent teased fans with a photo on the set of the top rating crime-drama series.

Her caption: "Taping for FPJ's Ang Probinsyano #Cassandra #FPJSANGPROBINSYANO #ABSCBN"

Chanel's appearance on the show is not her first project with ABS-CBN. She previously appeared on the Kapamilya network's crime drama anthology Ipaglaban Mo! hosted by the father-and-son tandem of Atty. Jose Sison and Jopet Sison. Chanel starred in an episode of the show with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Yves Flores.

Chanel is one of TV5's homegrown talents along with now Kapamilya stars Ritz Azul and Vin Abrenica.

In 2012, Chanel was part of the Final 6 of the Kapatid network's reality talent search Artista Academy where Vin and Sophie Albert emerged as winners.

Since then she has appeared on TV5's mini-drama series Wattpad Presents and comedy gag show Tropa Mo 'Ko Unli Spoof with the rest of the finalists of Artista Academy.

She is currently handled by ALV Talents. However, she is yet to sign an exclusive contract with a TV network.

Last July, Chanel was named as one of Mother Lily's "Millenial Regal Babies" along with David Licauco, Danielle Lee, and Jerico Estregan.
