After her character in Encantadia was killed, Sunshine Dizon is set to star in an infidelity-themed teleserye with Gabby Concepcion and Ryza Cenon. Gabby said about this new show, "Paano ka nakasisiguro na hindi ka iiwanan ng mister mo para sumama sa iba? Suriin natin."

Sunshine Dizon's character died in the November 2 episode of Encantadia.

Her character Adhara was first stabbed by her ally-turned-enemy Lilasari (Diana Zubiri) after a duel with Amihan (Kylie Padilla).

Before taking her last breath, Adhara cursed Amihan that she will never find her daughter Lira, who is actually inside Adhara's necklace.

Adhara was then stabbed to death by Amihan.

Before Adhara's death, it was already seen on social media that Sunshine will soon be starring in GMA-7's upcoming afternoon series together with Gabby Concepcion and Ryza Cenon.

In fact, Sunshine shared a picture of them during the show's story conference last week.

In her caption, she mentioned that her character's name is Emma.

Meanwhile, in Gabby's post, he gave hints about the storyline of this new TV drama.

He said, "Paano ka nakasisiguro na hindi ka iiwanan ng mister mo para sumama sa iba? Suriin natin. Sa nalalapit naming proyekto ni Ryza Cenon @iamryzacenon at Sunshine Dizon @m_sunshinedizon Directed by Laurice Guillen @lauriceguillen sa GMA Afternoon Prime. Sana abangan po ninyo. Malapit na."

In another photo posted by Sunshine, she said that she is excited to return to the afternoon slot.

She said in her caption, "Great to be back on the afternoon slot. Thank you for the opportunity @gmanetwork and to all my nanays and to our creative team. Thank you @kamille_ph also my first time to work with our E.P ms. Arlene and Direk Laurice, its going to be very exciting."

It was also seen in the picture that the upcoming show also stars Mike Tan and Rich Asuncion, and will be helmed by director Laurice Guillen.

The teleserye serves as a reunion for Ryza and Mike, who were Ultimate Female and Male Survivors of StarStruck Season two.

It can be recalled that Sunshine's last afternoon series in the network was the modern adaptation of Villa Quintana (2013-2014), which starred ex-couple Janine Gutierrez and Elmo Magalona.

Since then, Sunshine did primetime shows like Strawberry Lane, Pari 'Koy, Little Nanay, and most recently, Encantadia.

It was in 2005 when Sunshine first did a daily afternoon series, via GMA's defunct umbrella series Now and Forever. In the installment titled Agos, she played the eldest daughter of Christopher de Leon and Lani Mercado while her siblings were Dennis Trillo and Tanya Garcia.

Sunshine was also tapped to play main characters in the afternoon Sine Novela presentations Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan (2008) and Tinik sa Dibdib (2009). However, she wasn't able to finish these shows.

She has already taped scenes with Marvin Agustin and Diana in Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan but a week before its pilot episode, Sunshine had to be pulled out because she got sick. She was replaced by Camille Prats.
