Star Magic talent Maja Salvador reveals her beauty secrets and even her beauty must-haves.
“Sobrang kuripot ako,” Maja Salvador says, “so most of my makeup items are gifts from friends who travel abroad a lot. I began to like them, so that now I can do makeup on myself and other people as well.”
Maja’s ultra-simple everyday look is achieved with just three products: “Pag lumalabas ako, I only wear mascara, blush-on, and lip balm. I believe in enhancing one’s beauty with a little makeup lang.”
Though the young actress regularly visits the Forever Flawless Skin and Body Center for a massage and a scrub, and though she treats herself to a Kerastase hot-oil treatment at home, she laughs when asked about her beauty regimen.
“I’m not even conscious of the food I eat! I love Mr. Chips and most hipon dishes. For my beauty ritual, I just wash my face with Dove facial wash every day. Nakakabura rin kasi siya ng makeup. In the morning I put on Cetaphil moisturizer. And I try to sleep early. That’s it.”
If the ASAP co-host breaks out, she grabs a piece of ice and places it over the pimple for a few seconds: “Pag may pimple na patubo, ’wag gagalawin. Ice should be enough hanggang mag-dry ’yong pimple.”
