"I'm so proud of the relationship"--Vic Sotto

Vic Sotto reveals that he already met the parents of his girlfriend, Pia Guanio.

Vic Sotto has never been this open about his lovelife. Since his separation from ex-wife Dina Bonnevie, the box-office king has been linked to many women and he has always been very discreet about how he feels towards them.

But this is not the case with his relationship with Eat Bulaga! co-host Pia Guanio. Vic is not only vocal about it but is also seriously considering settling down with her.

The comedian also hinted that Pia might be the last woman in his life.

In a live interview in S-Files, where Pia is a co-host, Sunday, December 17, Vic openly talked about their love affair.

"Nagulat [sila and] at the same time hindi makapaniwala dahil they are so used to me na tahimik pagdating sa personal na buhay. This time, I'm very proud of the relationship, I'm very proud of her," said Vic.

"Wala namang dapat itago kasi e. Nagtataka nga ako noon e, dinedenay-dinedenay [daw]. Wala naman akong dinedenay, wala lang nagtatanong. Nung nag-presscon ako [for Enteng Kabisote 3], may nagtanong, sumagot naman ako. Mabait naman akong tao e," he added.

When asked if Vic's children have a say on his relationship with Pia, the comedian replied, "Alam mo, kami ng mga anak ko, wala kaming pakialamanan e. Lalo na ‘yung malalaki na, ‘yung may lovelife na [referring to Danica and Oyoboy Sotto—his children with Dina]. Di ako nakikialam [sa kanila]. I don't give unsolicited advice. ‘Pag kinailangan ‘yung advice ko, that's the time na magbibigay ako.

"More or less, ganun 'yung relasyon namin. Lovelife ko, labas sila dun. Basta nakikita nilang maligaya ako [at] masaya ako, e ayos na. Tulad ni Pia, walang problema sa mga anak ko ‘yan kasi vibes naman sila e," he said.

Pia, who joined Vic in the second part of the interview, confirmed his boyfriend's statement.

"We're more or less good friends," she said referring to Vic's children. "I just want to be a good friend to them. I just want to be able to help. I don't want to be putting labels into people [and] on relationships. Basta, I'm here for them no matter what happens. Cia [Ciara Sotto, Vic's niece and Eat Bulaga! co-host], I've been friends [with her] ever since. I don't want that to be affected whatever happens. "

Aside from Danica and Oyoboy, Vic also has a son with actress Coney Reyes and a daughter with former showbiz personality Angela Luz.

Bossing Vic also said that his friends are happy for him.

"Siyempre masaya sila sa akin. Kilala naman nila si Pia. Most of you know that Pia is a very likable person. Di siya mahirap magustuhan e. Madaling mapalapit ang loob mo," he said smiling.

The couple also revealed that Vic has met Pia's parents. The couple has only nice words for his "future in-laws."

"‘Yung parents ni Pia, they're such cool people," Vic said. "Parang si Pia. Alam ko na kung saan nagmana ‘to e. [‘Yung] pagka-friendly [at] pagka-likable. ‘Yung magulang niya, madaling kausap. Very nice [people]."

When asked whether Pia's parents gave him advice, Vic joked, "Wala, sa kanya [Pia] maraming ibinigay."

Vic also made fun of his playboy tag. "Hindi totoo ‘yun. Image lang ‘yun. Kagagawan ng pareng Joey [de Leon] ko 'yan e. Actually, baligtad yun e. Pinapasa lang niya sa akin e," he said laughing.

Vic also clarified the rumours that they have already set their wedding date on 2008.

"Saan naman nanggaling 'yang 2008? 'Di naman ganun kadali ‘yun although there are times that we talk about it," he said.

At the end of the interview, Bossing candidly gave his message to Pia: "Simple lang ang message ko: I love you."

Pia answered back saying, "I love you too."

Vic stars in Enteng Kabisote 3, an official entry to the 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival, where Pia has a cameo role.
