When Jessa exchanged vows with Dingdong, she was in her regal best in a wedding gown designed by Maxi Cinco, with its body-skimming silhouette and beaded and embroidered train. The officiating priest was the Most Reverend Maximiano T. Cruz, Bishop Emeritus of Calbayog, Samar. Dingdong is from Samar. There were many obstacles to the pairing of singers Jessa Zaragosa and Dingdong Avanzado. Her mother disapproved of him, and his ex-girlfriend cried foul. She was rumored to have a love-child, and he was accused of using her to advance his candidacy for Quezon City councilor.

But in the end Jessa and Dingdong, a.k.a. Richelle Ann M. Loyola and Fernando Cyril V. Avanzado, proved to all and sundry that love conquers all.
