Cristy denies she is the cause of Kris’s alleged plan to leave "The Buzz"

The Buzz co-host Cristy Fermin about her rift with Kris Aquino in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) earlier today, April 18.

All about Hope. Kris and Cristy had a falling out after the latter reportedly told Kris about the affair of James Yap—Kris's husband—and a former Belo Medical Group employee named Hope Centeno. Cristy was said to have known about the affair since January, but only told Kris about it in February.

After the revelation, Kris allegedly started to ignore Cristy during their live show. Cristy was said to have been affected by the way Kris was treating her.

In her defense, Cristy said she was waiting for the "tamang pagkakataon" before she reveals anything to Kris. To her, reports said, she was looking out for Kris and the health of Baby James, Kris's unborn child.

Three is a crowd? There have been reports that Kris won't be returning to The Buzz, which she co-hosts with Boy Abunda and Cristy, after her maternity leave.

"Ang sure na sure talaga ‘yong Kapamilya Deal or No Deal sa June 18," Kris said in a taped interview with The Buzz on April 15.

PEP asks Cristy if her rift with Kris is the cause why Kris is undecided whether to return to The Buzz or not.

She adds, "Mas gusto ko siyang mag-The Buzz kasi mahalaga siyang sangkap ng programa.

Nanay. Cristy says that despite of her tiff with Kris, Kris is still in her prayers.

She also says that they will probably talk to each other when Kris comes back from her maternity leave.
