Sheryl Cruz wants to rest from villain roles

Sheryl Cruz says that playing villain roles is hard on one's voice. She just wants to rest from having to shout all the time.

"There are times na I wanna rest being an anti," sabi ni Sheryl. "It's not I don't like to be an anti... The thing is, I wanna rest.

"Actually, it's a blessing," patuloy niya. "I think if you're really dead serious in your craft or you show a lot of effort, kung maganda naman ang feedback sa trabaho na ginagawa mo, I'm sure the audience will ask more of you na makita ka. One thing I appreciate in GMA-7, they give me roles to play different characters. E, ako, I don't really like to play same things again."

ROSEMARIE SONORA.

"My mom is here right now. She brought my daughter back here before school starts. She'll stay her until my aunt's [Susan] birthday, which is on the end of July. She ‘s retired, she can come back back and forth anytime she pleases. This time, it's really an obligation.

"My husband [Norman Bustos] is working... Sinabi ko sa Mommy ko, ‘You know, I got a ticket. Go with Ashley, go home with your apo. When she came back, my aunt was really happy, ganun din yung bunsong kapatid nila.

"Actually maraming umaawit sa kanya [to act again], but the main reason of my Mom being here is to spend time with her family talaga. Ngayon, if magustuhan niya, she's an actress and like me, innate na ‘yon sa kanya. Probably she'll do something she wants to do, a commercial which she is really known for, like ‘yung Johnson or Lux. To do a project per se, probably for someone special na di niya matanggihan."

NORMAN BUSTOS.

Ayon kay Sheryl, "We're physically separated, which we can't deny. But kung, let's say hiwalay nga kami, I will let you know. It's just being away with my husband, it's an intercontinental relationship, which we are doing right now, because we're physically separated from each other. But it's not because di na namin mahal ang isa't isa or hiwalay na kami.

"The reason why we're both working really hard is because of our future and the future of our child. Saka as a woman, I would like people to respect my decision. Hindi naman porke't as a wife, kailangang sunud-sunuran ka lang sa asawa mo. I have my own career, I have my own mind, and I do love and respect myself. I have to show my daughter that girls also work hard as guys, equally hard as guys.

"Lumaki ako sa Pilipinas, I have my own job, my own money. Hindi kami aasa sa asawa ko, although my husband is a good provider.

"For now, I just want to respect memories of my father na nanahimik na. Huwag na nating bulabugin.

"Everybody may have their own opinion. But it's better not to say anything kasi hahaba pa and hindi ganun ang tipo ng pamilya namin. We were not brought up para maging palengkera or manggiyera," huling pahayag ng aktres, na kasama sa kasisimula pa lang na GMA-7 soap opera na Mga Mata Ni Anghelita.
