6cyclemind is on its sixth year in the music industry. Spirits and elements will not stop the band from playing for avid fans on the road. 6cyclemind recently launched their fourth album on their sixth year of playing together.

Drummer Tutti Caringal shares that they didn't expect to be playing this long. "Nung una, hindi. Wala talaga sa plano namin yung ganyan[referring to their friendship]. Basta kami, work lang ng work.

Their recent album Fiesta was born from their tour around the country. "Sabi namin, why not gawan natin ng album yung experience natin sa tour sa Tanduay," Tutti said.

They're bound to encounter everything and anything during a tour.

"Sa Cagayan, nakahiwalay kami ng room. Yung roommate niya (pointing to Rye Sarmiento) sumama doon sa iba," vocalist Ney Dimaculangan started off.

Meron parang pumatong. Hindi ako maka-move kasi parang may mabigat. Tapos nagising akong... parang nawala. 'Tapos, maya-maya. Ayun ulit. Dalawang beses nangyari.

The band members were informed by a hotel staff that someone died in the hotel about two years before.

"Parang on the same floor. Pero creepy talaga," Rye recalls.

Ney shared another story.

"We went out of the country, sa Malaysia. As in, hindi ako makalakad.

And then, sabi ko, pahinga ulit ako.

"Kinabukasan, dalawa na," said Ney, recalling his frustration.

Ney then asked one of the Malaysians about the hotel-house. The Malaysian told him, that there were three sisters who lived there before who probably might have fooled around with him. The local guy rubbed some kind of oil on him and then, the following day, the pain was gone.

"Tapos, nung natutulog kami sa taas, walang tao. Yung mga pinamili na anuman, may gumaganoon. [gesturing sound movement].

Does scary spirit stuff stop them from playing?

Tuttie said,"Hindi naman.

"Kumbaga natuwa lang siya," a jovial Ney said.
