Yasmien Kurdi wears a sexy outfit to the mediacon of her new prime-time drama series Beautiful Justice on August 27, at Martessa Le Reve in Quezon City.

She assures the members of the press that before she left the house, her outfit got the seal of approval from her husband Rey Soldevilla.

“Sinamahan niya ako. Nandiyan siya, e,” Yasmien tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) as she points to her husband waiting outside Le Reve.

Yasmien is proud that their respective careers have not caused any conflict between them as a couple. Rey does not meddle in the projects she accepts, and they support one another.

“Nagtutulungan kami. Kapag wala siyang ginagawa, pinagda-drive niya ako pag wala akong driver.

It helps that they are in different industries.

YASMIEN ON HOW THEY HANDLE MONEY MATTERS

Yasmien and Rey have never fought about money, too, and they don't make an issue out of who earns more.

We’re as one.

“Dapat hindi tayo nagbibilangan. Kung sino man ang meron, e, di siya ang magbigay,” the Kapuso actress says.

Yasmien is in charge of handling the household budget. She accepts without question whatever amount her husband gives her, and it's not an issue to them how much each contributes to the household expenses.

She says, “Nasa akin po talaga yung budget ng house. Pero we set aside budget for ourselves.

“Kasi, paano kung meron siyang gustong bilhin para sa sarili niya, meron siyang gustong bilhin para sa sarili ko, and then the other goes to our savings.

YASMIEN ON HAVING ANOTHER BABY

Yasmien and husband Rey are happy with their only child Ayesha, but she is already asking for another sibling.

“Sinasabi namin sa kanya, in God’s time.

“Kung dumating na ibigay ni Lord, it’s a blessing and happy kami,” Yasmien says.

They are not in a hurry to have another baby, and they are not planning ahead because Yasmien is still young.

“Iyun din siguro yung advantage na maaga ka nag-asawa o maaga ka nagka-baby... mahaba pa yung time to have another baby,” Yasmien explains.

It's all right with her if she gets pregnant next year, and that would be the time that she slows down at work. For now, GMA-7 has given her a good project, and that is why she is going all out in promoting Beautiful Justice.
