Despite all the issues that continue to hound their personal lives, it cannot be denied that when it comes to their little bundle of joy, Calix Andreas, proud parents Dennis Trillo and Carlene Aguilar want nothing but the best.

For the Zaido lead star, the arrival of Calix only intensified his desire to focus more on his career. Like any beaming dad, one glance at his baby and all the weariness brought by a day's work simply melt away.

"Nawawala ang pagod ko ‘pag nakikita ko siya at madalas ‘yon," the young matinee idol proudly boasted to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) contributor Nitz Miralles during an interview last November 4 at the Valencia compound. "If may free time ako, binibisita ko siya at minsan, after taping ng Zaido."

In a conversation with The Buzz co-host Boy Abunda, Carlene confirmed Dennis's intense commitment as a young father.

"Excited siya lagi," the former beauty queen said. "Tapos pag wala siyang taping, pumupunta siya sa bahay. Everyday nagte-taping siya, pero talagang naghahanap siya ng time para kay Calix. Dun sa ipinapakita niya, e, I admire him."

Calix Andreas Ho was born on September 22, 2007 at Los Angeles, California. When Carlene came home to the Philippines with Calix, last October 6, reporters who greeted the mag-ina at the airport quickly took note of the baby's striking resemblance to his dad.

A day after the arrival, some reporters caught Dennis saying, "Siyempre excited!" he said ecstatically. "First time kong makikita face to face yung baby ko. Masayang-masaya ako."
