In an article published in PEP, Douglasrelated that the couple is separating because, "It's been an on-offrelationship for 13 years. There is no third party involved on both sides."

Anjo affirmed this and said that they tried to keeptheir marriage, but still it ended in separation which, he said, is amutual decision.

The comedian seriously explained to Startalk, "Hindiganun kahirap para sa amin kasi, sa mga hindi nakakaalam, we already broke uptwo years ago. For almost a year parang naghiwalay kami kasi maraming hindi pagkakaintindihan.

"So, we opted to separate then, parang trial. After aless than year, nagkabalikan kami. We tried, kumbaga noong 2005—August,September, October, ganun—nagbalikan kami. 'Tapos the following year, yunnga, she got pregnant, problem, nalusutan naman namin."

H reiterated that no third party is involvedand that their misunderstandings are the main cause of their breakup.

"Marami kaming hindi pagkakaintindihan dati pa," revealedAnjo. "Thirteen years na yata on and off yung away. We decided, finally, na to end it. Walang third party. It was a mutualdecision. It is not the first kaya hindi ganoon kahirap."

The couple has planned anarrangement for their four kids. Anjo explained, "Pinakaimportante kasidito right now are the kids, e. Sa kids naman, I'll have the kids duringweekend—Friday, Saturday, Sunday—'tapos sa kanya [Jackie] kapag weekdays, kapagmay pasok. So yun, sharing kami sa bata."

"Hindi ko alam kung paano ko sasabihin sakanila. Panganay ko, I don't know how she'll take it, kaya nga gusto komagkaroon kami ng heart-to-heart talk. Yun ang pinaka-concern ko ngayon."
