"Taping the whole month of three weeks, di maiwasan na mag-usap kayo habang nakatengga.

"Usap kayo about life, love life, business, and Joshua was already looking for other ways to earn money.

"Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Joshua, I have this and this.'

ENCHONG ON GETTING JOSHUA AS BUSINESS PARTNER

Madaling kausap si Joshua. Pagkatapos raw ng nag-ocular, nakapag-decide agad ang 23-year-old actor.

Patuloy ni Enchong, "Dinala ko siya dun and during that time, di pa siya tayo, medyo bare. Right after that visit in AOR, he said yes already. Next step kailangang kausapin ang handler niya. We are talking about hard-earned money.

"As much as possible, ayaw kong humihiram, ayaw kong naghahawak ng pera ng ibang tao. It's accountability.

Pagmamalaki niya, "Marami siyang tanong. Ang kagandahan kay Joshua, nag-aaral siya ngayon. He's studying business, he's reading a lot of business books.

"Di naman dahil sa akin, inopen ko lang idea on expanding his knowledge about business. Siya mismo may initiative, willing to study and research.

ENCHONG ON START OF PARTNERSHIP WITH ACADEMY OF ROCK

Pag-alala niya, "May ginagawa akong single that time, ginawa sa studio malapit sa Cornerstone, nasa taas yun. On that night na magre-record kami, I met the secretary of the head of the Academy of Rock sa Singapore.

It lasted 'til 2016. Nagkaroon lang ng parang disconnection between the Singapore and Philippine group.

"So nung nalaman ko na magbubukas ulit dito ang AOR Philippines, I voiced out my interest. Sabi ko, 'Let's talk about this. I want to explore more.'"

MORE THAN JUST A TYPICAL MUSIC SCHOOL

Paliwanag ni Enchong, "It's a music school primarily. Di siya nag-i-istop sa piano guitar, singing. May recording studio, it will be the last one to finish.

"We have to find state of the art equipment at par sa Singapore. We have an events place, mini theatre na parang studio din pero outdoorsy. May stage, may director's booth, may seating capacity of 50-100 persons. May café inside, may bubble tea, may conference room. Marami siyang components. Di nag-iistop sa classroom and music school."

Saad niya, "Two years ago, I was flying back and forth to Singapore, I was already studying. Kilala niyo ako, kapag di pa siguradung-sigurado, I don't want to talk about it.

Pag-amin niya, "Andaming struggles—pandemic, ABS shutdown. Most of my partners are working in ABS. Our partners are from Singapore, may barriers sa language and culture and the way you deal with people.

"Tapos na pagbukas ng economy, but we're happy we're slowly opening. Hopefully, mapabilis pa siya as time goes by."

ENCHONG BELIEVES IN PINOYS' WORLD-CLASS MUSICAL ARTISTRY

You have to pay forward not for money. Ang dami kong negosyong pinaglagyan to earn money, dito gusto kong magbalik. Yung money susunod na lang siya.

"We want to improve the quality of music education sa Pilipinas. May exams na pag napasa mo, you are qualified to teach, your courses are accepted sa British School of Music. May partnership din lang sa Singapore.

"The purpose talaga is to find new talents and cultivate these talents. Far from the reach of people na gustong magpunta ng Manila, I want to find new talents and give them education. Every time you give education to someone, you empower them."

ENCHONG WILLING TO FUND SEARCH FOR BUDDING MUSIC SCHOLARS

Pagmamalaki niya, "I told my partners, 'Let's allot money for that. I'm willing to shell out my money so we can cultivate that talent.'"

Dagdag din niya, "We will hire Filipino teachers so we can send them to China. Nakakuha kami ng clients sa China and they are already waiting for Filipino teachers. Di kailangan mag-aral ng Chinese. They just have to bring their skills.

"Future goal is to have more branches here. Encourage people in Viasayas and Mindanao and other parts of Luzon and create more talents here in the country through Academy of Rock. Hopefully, we can manage these talents."
