Criza Taa recently commemorated the first death anniversary of her grandmother, Wilma Obara.
The former Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate turned nostalgic when she revisited Puka Beach in Boracay, and remembered her lola, whom she fondly calls "Mama Wilma."
On Instagram yesterday, November 4, 2022, Criza wrote, "Today marks the first year since you left this world but i’m still not used to live my life without you and I think i’ll never will.

"My smile, happiness, and motivation isn’t the same anymore since you left my side physically but you made me strong enough to conquer our dreams alone.
"I promise to choose what’s best for myself, for my peace just like all you wanted for me.
"I’m so grateful to be loved by you, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you ma. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita. I miss you so so much mama ko."
Since her television debut, the 18-year-old Kapamilya has always been vocal about being a doting granddaughter to her Mama Wilma.
When her lola passed away, Criza referred to the tragedy as her 'biggest fear' come to life.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, she admitted, "Yung mawala si Mama, ayun lang. All my life, ayun lang talaga, yung mawala siya. Ayun yung kinakatakot ko. Mawala na ang lahat, huwag lang [siya].
"Siya yung buhay ko, pag wala siya, hindi ko alam kung ano yung buhay ko ngayon."
Following her departure from the reality competition, Criza appearaned in a number of ABS-CBN TV programs, including Kadenang Ginto.
She also took on the role of Naih in the hit series He's Into Her with Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
