Looking forward na si Richard Gutierrez sa second movie nila ni KC Concepcion after For The Fist Time, ngayong nakabalik na ulit ng Pilipinas ang aktres. Pero bago ang pelikula nila sa GMA Films, excited muna si Richard sa susunod na trip nila ni KC sa Vienna, Austria, para sa special screening ng For the First Time.
"We're very excited for our trip to Vienna. Kasi nga nalungkot siya dahil mag-isa lang siya [KC] sa L.A. and San Francisco. Hindi ko siya nasamahan because of my schedule here in Manila. Pero ngayon, we're looking forward to our trip in Vienna together," bungad ni Richard nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa inauguration ng Flawless Moments sa Greenhills, San Juan City, noong September 14.
Mag-e-extend ba sila ng stay sa Vienna?
"You know what, sana makapag-extend kami kasi we really want to visit other places besides Vienna. But with our schedule, mukhang hindi kami makaka-extend. But we're going to enjoy the moment that we have in Vienna and we're gonna have the most out of it. And we're gonna make sure that the Filipinos will have a good time, and we're gonna have a good time."
What's the real score now between him and KC?
"Well, now, like what we always say, sobrang busy namin sa work but we still find time to see each other," sabi ni Richard. "We still find time to meet up and talk. But now our schedules are really, really bad, and we don't want to rush things. It's better that we take it step by step. At kung anuman ang maging final decision na mangyayari, e, kayo rin ang unang makakaalam."
Ano na ba ang status nila ni KC? Are they exclusively dating, or may mutual understanding na?
"Kasi kami, we don't want to put a title to it, you know? Kung ano man meron kami, basta ‘pag magkasama kami, nag-e-enejoy kami. Basta wala munang titulo, di ba?"
May lumabas na balitang gusto raw ni Piolo Pascual na makapareha si KC. Anong masasabi ni Richard dito?
"Well, I'm sure there's a lot of guys who want to work with KC, or who would want to work with KC in the future. Masarap katrabaho si KC, e, and I'm sure lahat ng guys gusto siyang makatrabaho. It's okay with me. I think it's also good for KC to be working with other leading men, so she will grow also as an artist."
Nagkita na ba sila ni KC pagkarating niya sa airport?
"Yes, pero sa amin na lang yung kung saan. Basta nagkita kami."
Ano ang pasalubong ni KC sa kanya?
"Wala, wala naman akong bilin sa kanya. Pero we saw each other, I welcomed her back...nandun [yung pasalubong]."
Napapanood ba ni KC ang kissing scene ni Richard at ni Heart Evangelista sa Codename: Asero ng GMA-7?
"Hindi, hindi niya napanood. Hindi ko pa alam kung pinanood niya privately."
Sa tingin niya, may karapatan bang magselos si KC, if ever?
"Wala naman dapat pagselosan kasi yung ginawa namin ni Heart, it was very tastefully done and they made sure na maganda ang eksena at walang malisya."
May nami-miss ba siya sa paggawa niya ng movie sa Star Cinema?
"Well, you know, not only Star Cinema but I miss the people that I've worked with there. I miss the whole thing in making the movie, working with the different group and the whole experience shooting in Santorini, Greece, working with ABS-CBN. Siyempre, nakaka-miss yun."
Ilang araw rin siyang nag-promote sa ABS-CBN. Na-miss ba niya ang Kapamilya network?
"I'm happy they welcomed me very warmly and the people are very nice to me. I miss the people that I've worked with there more than anything."
Ano ang na-feel niya nang makatabi niya sa ASAP '08 sina John Lloyd Cruz, Sam Milby, at Piolo Pascual, na sinasabing mga kakumpitensiya niya sa popularity?
"Oo nga, e. Medyo, siyempre medyo unbelievable. Medyo surreal, di ba? Pero nakakaaliw din at the same time. That was good moment, I think, na makita kami ng mga tao sa isang frame na magkakasama.
"Yun pa lang, e, makita lang ng mga tao yun, it inspires them to have unity, di ba? Na huwag nang masyadong rivalry. Na kahit split second lang kami nagsama, siguro may mga na-inspire kami na mga tao at yun ang goal namin," saad ni Richard.
