Ang tinamasang pangungutya noon ay nagdulot ng blessing para kay Zoe Gabriel ngayon.

Matatandaan na si Zoe ang 17-year-old Filipina teenager na nakabase sa Singapore at na-bash noong January 2023 dahil tinawag niyang “luxury” ang tote bag na binili niya for 80 Singaporean dollars o US$60 o PHP3,360.

Unang luxury bag iyon ni Zoe na nagmula pa sa kanyang ama, pero minaliit ng ibang netizens dahil di raw kahanay ng high-end brands na karaniwang ginagamit ng mga artista.

Paliwanag niya noon sa kanyang bashers, “Your comment spoke volumes on how ignorant you seem because of your wealth.

“To you, an $80 bag may not be a luxury. But for me and my family, it is a lot.

“And I’m so grateful my dad was able to get me one. He worked so hard for that money.

“I can’t believe I got hate over a bag I was so excited to have.”

Dahil naman sa pangyayari, niregaluhan siya ng Charles & Keith ng dalawang personalized iconic Gabine bags.

Inimbitahan din siya para sa isang lunch at tour sa headquarters ng kumpanya.

At ngayon, bahagi na siya ng campaign ng Charles & Keith sa paglulunsad nito ng purple Alia bag bilang suporta sa UN Women’s Storytelling for Gender Equality program kaugnay ng pagdiriwang ng International Women’s Day sa March 8.

Ibinahagi ng Charles & Keith sa official Instagram account nito last March 4, 2023 ang larawan ni Zoe na bitbit ang hand bag na kulay purple.

Sa ngayon ay mayroon na itong 600 stores sa 37 bansa.

Masasabing naging redemption para kay Zoe ang ginawang pamba-bash sa kanya noon dahil nagbukas ito ng maraming oportunidad sa kanya bilang content creator.

Tumatak din ang kanyang mensahe noon kung ano ang ibig sabihin para sa kanya ng luxury.
