Actress Bea Alonzo joins the local divas Regine Velasquez and Zsa Zsa Padilla, TV host Lucy Torres, and Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo as the ladies of Belo Essentials.
Belo Essentials launched last week the TV commercial of I Love Betty La Fea actress, who is their endorser for their new facial toner product, during the press conference held last October 30 at the Steak Town restaurant on Sgt. Esguerra St., Quezon City.
Crystal Henares, daughter of Dr. Vicki Belo and general manager of Belo Essentials, explained why they chose Bea as an endorser. She said, "As usual, whenever we pick endorsers, we always pick those that stand for the Belo brand, di ba? They have the same personality. Ibig sabihin, kami, classy kami katulad ni Bea.
"You know, with Bea, she stands for quality, she's always excellent in her work. When I talked to her and we made kuwento, she really studies the role...nagre-research siya, and that's something I admire of her. She has this excellence and standards na nilalagay niya sa kanyang acting career."
Bea, who was seated beside Krystal, later on said that she felt overwhelmed when Belo Essentials approached her to be their endorser.
"Kasi dati, noong sinasabi pa lang ni Ms. Regine Velasquez 'yong ‘Only Belo touches my skin,' mini-mimic ko pa siya, ginagaya ko pa siya. 'Tapos finally noong ako na ang nagsasabi, talagang habang nasa salamin, natatawa sila sa akin kasi ilang beses ko siya inuulit. Sabi ko, ‘Only Belo touches my skin. Who touches yours?'
"Sobrang overwhelming na, ‘Wow!' Puwede pala akong isama doon sa Belo girls or doon sa stars ng Belo. I'm really, really happy. Aside from that, siyempre, kapag part ka na ng Belo, mas lalong alam mo na mas mae-enhance ang beauty mo. So, I'm really, really, happy and lucky to be part of their group."
BE BETTY-FUL. The 21-year-old actress said that endorsing Belo Essentials would somehow help her avoid skin problems, especially on her face. "Kasasabi lang ni Krystal, it's better to prevent than to cure," said Bea.
She continued, "Siyempre, sa dami nang harmful elements sa environment natin ngayon, lalo na't nagshu-shoot kami sa Quiapo, siyempre, mas gusto ko na panatilihing malinis ang face ko. Kahit na sabihin mo na masaya ka na sa hitsura mo, it's better na to improve yourself every time, that's what I'm doing."
How will the Belo Essentials products keep the face beautiful? Krystal explains the three-step regimen:
"Depende kung oily or dry 'yong skin mo. First is magki-cleanse tayo with a whitening face wash. 'Tapos, magre-revitalize tayo with a revitalizing toner. And very soon, you will try our whitening cream, which is supposed to nourish your skin.
"Ang maganda sa produkto namin na toner at face cream is stay on po siya sa face. Hindi katulad ng face wash, after cleansing, wina-wash off na natin. Ito, it stays on your face so mas matindi ang whitening effect niya."
These steps are exactly what Bea is doing on her face. "Three steps siya," said Bea when asked about her beauty regimen. "Siyempre, 'yong facial wash, then, 'yong toner and then, 'yong night cream. Every night, before I go to sleep or kahit hindi ako nakakatulog, kahit dalawang oras lang ang tulog ko, I see to it na nilalagay ko siya just to keep my skin fresh kahit na araw-araw ako nagtratrabaho."
