Eugene's first Christmas in New York

Last year, Eugene Domingo's dream to spend a White Christmas in New York became a reality.

A month prior to her trip, she told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal): "Pangarap ko talaga yun. Puwede naman, di ba? Puwede namang tuparin. At saka makapanood ng Broadway plays, musical... Pangarap ko talaga yun, e."

She also got excited at the thought of seeing real snow. She said, looking so excited, "First time...mga snow na nai-experience ko, styrofoam lang!"

Upon her arrival here in Manila, the ace comedienne sent a few of her photos to PEP associate editor Rommel Llanes, and she also wrote the captions. Two of her best memories:

• Visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. "Well, one of the reasons why N.Y. is always a place to visit again and again is because of its rich collection and preservation of art. Hindi mo matatapos ng ilang araw lang."

• Witnessing the New Year's countdown at the Times Square. "Naglalakad ka lang dito and you will find the streets in Broadway, where the musicals and plays are being shown."
