"Gusto ko i-try lahat, so hayan, nag-acting naman ako ngayon," says Dr. Vicki Belo about her newfound job as an actress in the comedy-drama series I Love Betty La Fea. She will act as herself who will help change the face of the main character, Betty (Bea Alonzo).

When the breakup between beauty doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho came out last month, only the latter has been very vocal about what supposedly caused it. Many have waited for Dr. Vicki to speak about the split and the involvement of two sexy actresses in the issue, but to no avail.

In TV Patrol's "Star Patrol" aired last night, January 12, reporter Mario Dumaual was able to get a statement from the lady surgeon during the taping of I Love Betty La Fea in one of her clinics. Dra. Vicki will appear on the show as herself who will transform Bea Alonzo's character.

"Ine-emphasize ko kay Betty na kailangan ang makeover, hindi lang sa labas, kundi sa loob din, di ba? Siyempre, kailangan positive outlook, mas self-confident," said Dr. Vicki, as if describing the changes of her viewpoint after her breakup with Hayden.

The beauty surgeon of many local celebrities refused to talk about the breakup or comment about the involvement of Katrina Halili and Rufa Mae Quinto. Instead, she just told Mario that she's determined to heal that wound in her heart and move on with her life.

She will go to the U.S. for a retreat.

"Thank you, God!" she uttered. "I'd like to dedicate this to God. It's very good naman to reassess your life. Actually, pupunta pa ako sa Amerika, magre-retreat pa ako ulit. It's a lot of soul searching and, you know, trying to evaluate what happened to me, trying to figure out the ano..."

Dra. Vicki revealed that she draws strength from her children, Quark and Crystalle. She also acknowledged the support given by her former husband Atom Henares, whom she considers her best friend.

"My ex-husband is my best friend," she said. "He's always there for me, always. He's super supportive now. You know, you really, really realize what's important in life—your family, people who really love you."
