“I was living with my mom, my lola, and my ate, and they were all full Filipino,” ani Andre sa GMA Public Affairs interview.

“So, really, 90-80 percent of my upbringing was influenced by Filipino culture, the food, the family, kababayan and all of that.”

Pagbabalik-tanaw ni Andre, “When I was growing up, I was always eating Filipino food.

Sabi niya, “A lot of my viewers are not Filipino and they have questions.

“And I have the answers I try to provide them as best that I can.

“Pinoy food is something that should be in the world stage, and it should be, and it is now.”

Ani Roline, “I make sure they have Filipino food in the house para naiintindihan ng mga anak ko what our food is.

“I want them to be proud na, ‘Hey, this is our food and not to be embarrassed by it.’”

Sabi niya pa, “Ingrained sa akin na ang pagkain is very special. It’s a love language.”
