Model-turned-actress Carlene Aguilar was ecstatic with the result of her pictorial with ace photographer, Mark Nicdao.
The photo exhibit held last night, March 11, at the Greenbelt 5 in Makati City showed various celebrities in black and white images as captured through the lens of the top fashion photographer. Other celebrity subjects that evening included KC Concepcion, Enchong Dee, Richard Gomez, Regine Velasquez, Jericho Rosales, and CamSur Governor LRay Villafuerte.
Mark, according to Carlene, was easy to work with. Her session actually lasted only less than an hour; "45 minutes," Carlene beamed.
Looking at her wide black and white photo on display that evening, Carlene couldn't help but gush: "Maganda parang alive na alive talaga. Kahit na black and white siya, makikita mo talaga na buhay."
BALANCING ACT. Carlene is currently seen in GMA-7's primetime series, Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang, where she portrays the role of Clarisse.
Juggling her time, admittedly, is never easy. Aside from show business, the former beauty queen is also taking up architecture at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. She is also a mom to son, Calix Andreas—her lovechild with actor and former boyfriend Dennis Trillo.
"Buti na lang nakikisama 'yong EP [executive producer] ng show kaya kahit papaano na-a-accommodate pa rin ng schedule ko," she said.
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) took the opportunity to ask Carlene regarding the latest issue saying that she and Dennis are at odds once again, which consequently affects the young actor's visitation rights to their son.
"Wala," replied a perplexed Carlene. "Okay naman," she added, "kasi friends naman kami ni Dennis kaya wala namang problema."
