Ezri Mitra, second child of singer Cacai Velazquez and musician Raul Mitra, turned seven on December 15, 2007. Her fairyland-themed birthday party was held at the clubhouse of an exclusive hilly subdivision in Quezon City, where Cacai's elder sister Regine Velasquez now resides.
Since the birthday fell on a busy date (it was the start of Christmas season), Cacai had a hard time booking personnel who usually take charge of kiddie parties. "Ang darning events," sighs Cacai. "Lahat, may naka-book na. Kay a kita mo, ang food, konti lang ang pambata. 'Buti nga, may na-book pa akong magician saka host. Susko, ngarag-ngarag ako."
But the party—with its magic show and kiddie games—turned out to be real fun.
Asked if she was already thinking of her daughters' debut party some years from now, Cacai burst out laughing and said: "Oo nga, ano? Apat pala magiging debutante ko... Actually, instead na party, ang gusto ko sa kanila mag-travel. Iba kasing experience ang mag-travel."
Sounds cool.
