KC Concepcion has just finished taping integral scenes of her first teleserye in ABS-CBN, Lovers in Paris. She is paired for the first time with Kapamilya matinee idol Piolo Pascual.
While in Paris, KC was in constant communication with her manager, Shirley Kwan, updating her on what was happening during their taping. These text messages from KC were forwarded to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) for her fans to know what she's been up to.
Here, published as is, are some updates from KC while she was in Paris:
Hehe!"
"Di talaga nakakatawa yung lamig. Kung di spaghetti strap ang suot, strapless! At kung di naka-paa, naka-heels at lusong pa sa fountain na parang yelo lang! HAHA! Pero saya naman."
After shooting some scenes in Paris, KC went straight to Rome to visit the headquarters of UN World Food Programme (WFP). KC is the National Ambassador Against Hunger of the UN WFP.
More of KC's text messages to Shirley:
"I'm the first national ambassador to visit UN WFP Rome headquarters! Waiting to meet WFP executive director Josette Sheeran now. Gonna be starstruck kasi I always watch her interviews on YouTube! Hehe! Have so many meetings, I feel like the President! Hehe! Levelliiiiing! I'll be done soon here. Just gave my talk and doing rounds here being the voice for Mindanao. (We have more IDPs than high-profile countries we serve so I'm calling out to HQ for a bigger push for us.)
"Today has been an enormous experience as I got out of the plane from 3 weeks of working in Paris and headed straight to the UN WFP headquarters. The highlights of my trip were mainly spending time again with my former country director Valerie [Guarnieri], who took me under her wing in my first year as national ambassador. She got promoted last year and got relocated to Rome, and it was sentimental to be able to speak in front of people in behalf of WFP Philippines, with her by my side again.
"Of course, having met and sat down with Madame Sheeran was a great honor, she listened as I updated her on certain issues concerning our program in Mindanao. To realize that she was aware of who I was and also recognized my efforts truly surprised me. Lionelli was kind and attentive and I'm grateful that he made time to speak to me 1 on 1 about how to improve our job of addressing hunger and working more dynamically as a good global team.
"What I love most about WFP is that they treat me like family and really make me feel that a young person can really do something meaningful in many ways and that the minds and hearts of the youth can truly matter...anywhere you are in the world."
