Winwyn Marquez is once again in showbiz limelight while also fulfilling responsibilities in her personal life.

She recently joined the Kapuso primetime action series Never Say Die, which is now in its fina epilsodes.

At the same time, Winwyn is a doting mom to her four-year-old daughter Luna and a loving partner to her fiancé Rayn.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) recently caught up with the beauty queen, who opened up about how she juggles motherhood, work, and everything in between.

WINWYN ON MOTHERHOOD

Winwyn’s eyes immediately sparkled at the mention of motherhood, proving how much she loves this aspect of her life despite the challenges that come with it.

“Being a mother, talagang every day you learn something new sa anak mo, di ba? So adjust ka lang nang adjust nang adjust…” she said.

Her daughter recently turned four, and is entering a milestone in her life.

Winwyn continued: “So she knows what she wants. She's going to ballet. She's gonna start school soon talaga… magki-kinder na siya.

“I love it. I love being a mom. I love being busy being a mom.”

The actress is grateful for her supportive partner.

“You know, it's hard to balance everything. There's no such thing as balance, but I'm grateful to have a partner who's willing to help me with the responsibilities, di ba? He's just not a partner to me. He's really a good father to my child.”

PARTNER ADJUSTING TO WINWYN

Winwyn also talked about gradually introducing her partner on social media, where they sometimes make dance-challenge videos.

Their family is visible on her feed every now and then, but beyond that, the actress intends to preserve the privacy of her non-showbiz fiancé, whom she previously described as her “first love.”

She also confirmed that her partner is starting to loosen up on camera.

“But we don't really share a lot of private things, di ba?

“I think yung nakikita nila, more of our fun times like TikTok, pumapayag na siya. But he's still a private person.

“I don't divulge information about him. Siyempre, hindi naman kailangan pa kasi nga, hindi naman siya showbiz o public person, di ba?

“It's just nice na pumapayag siya na makita nung mga tao kung ano yung ginagawa namin.”

Asked about her fiance’s reaction to the attention he has been getting from netizens, Winwyn replied, “Nagugulat siya kasi parang, ‘Uy, ang pogi naman niyan.’

“Syempre, ako biased ako, pogi talaga siya, di ba? Buti naman mababait yung netizens sa kanya.

“Minsan nahihiya na rin siya when he goes out kasi may nakakakilala sa kanya, but I hope he likes the attention also, di ba? The good kind of attention…”

winwyn: FIT AND FAB

Speaking of social media, many netizens admire Winwyn for maintaining her sexy figure.

The Kapuso actress admitted that she puts in a lot of effort to stay fit.

More than vanity, however, she said she wants to stay healthy for her daughter and for work.

“I think it also comes with the genes. I cannot speak for other people kasi iba-iba yung mga katawan natin, e, di ba?

“At the same time, siguro yung discipline lang talaga and hard work ko that I really wanna get back in shape really worked as well. So I think it goes hand in hand.

“Talagang binigyan ko ng time, 'cause I need it for work also. I need it para alam kong makakagalaw ako. I need to be healthy for my child.

“Hindi naman madali pag hindi ka healthy na mag-aalaga ka. So yun, that was my motivation.”

Asked about her fitness routine, she replied: “I started doing tennis with a trainer, with a coach. I do Pilates. Consistent ko ginagawa ko iyan. Mga twice a week ako, o twice a week gagawin ko.

“And now, I'm trying to get back to strength training also. So halo-halo. A little bit of everything.

“Ayoko kasi ang walang ginagawa. Kung wala akong ginagawa, di makaka-workout, magzu-zumba ako sa bahay. Open ko iyong YouTube, magzu-zumba ako. So a little bit of everything.

“The diet is hard to maintain, but I just try to eat moderately.”

WINWYN TO FELLOW MOMS

A lof of women who are not in their best form hope to start their journey, what's your advice to them?

“I think it's okay not to be okay. Dapat hindi sila ma-feel ng guilty na bakit ito yung nararamdam niyo.

“It's not easy to be a mom. It's not easy to do all the responsibilities you have. You're a super mom, di ba?" Winwyn reminded them.

“It takes time. You have to go and follow your timeline. Kasi hindi puwede yung napipilitan ka lang. And that's okay.

“Once you feel like you're back to yourself, unti-unti ang nagagawa mo, tuloy-tuloy mo lang. Kaya iyan, di ba?

“Baka siguro yung timeline ko ay iba sa timeline ng iba. But definitely, kaya iyan.”

She also reminded moms to start their fitness journey gradually.

“You just have to be active. I think simply by walking around the village or, you know, household chores, di ba, mapapagod ka din, di ba? Basta gumalaw ka. I think that will help.

“Mabuting pag naglilinis ka lang, sabayan mo ng sayaw, o, di ba?

“Or if you want to go walking holding yung stroller ng anak mo. You know, little things do matter. Magagawan ng paraan iyan di ba?”

She further stressed, "But again, if she wants to do it, hayaan mo siya mag-decide what to do.”

WILL SHE STILL GO AFTER THE CROWN AGAIN?

Last year, Winwyn made many of her fans happy when she competed again in Miss Universe Philippines 2025, where she finished first runner-up.

It wasn’t her first pageant. She was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017 in Bolivia.

She reached Top 15 in Binibining Pilipinas 2015.

But after her first runner-up finish last year, Winwyn is not eager to join another beauty pageant anytime soon.

“I'm not thinking about it right now. It's not in my plans,” she stated.

“I'm happy with the outcome noong Miss Universe Philippines 2025. Kahit papa'no nag-first runner-up naman, di ba?

“At my age and my status ko, not right now. I'm not thinking about it.

“I think yung representation and patriotism din kasi iyan, di ba, when you want to represent your country. I think it can go beyond the stage.

“Right now, I'm just trying to voice out what I really want for the Philippines and I think doon muna ako mag-focus talaga.”

Meanwhile, after her brief stint in Never Say Die, Winwyn said she is excited for her next project but declined to reveal specific details.

For now, fans can follow her on her social media accounts for updates.
