As her face continues to fill television screens and numerous billboards around the metro, Marian also continues to grace the covers of glossy publications, the latest being the YES! Most Beautiful issuereleased this June.
The 24-year-old actress finds herself in the Primetime Ladies category, and shares with YES! that being beautiful largely depends on your own outlook. "Depende naman sa sarili ko, e. Ikaw ang namimili sa aura mo," she explains, "Kung sasabihin mo na 'Ay, ang pangit ko ngayon!' talagang papangit ka. Pero kung every day sasabihin mo, 'Okey ako, happy ako, masaya ako, maganda ako'—iba na ang mararamdaman mo. Ikaw ang may choice kung gusto mong maging maganda o hindi."
Marian makes sure to begin each day with a little pep talk in front of the mirror. "Humaharap ako sa salamin every morning at sinasabi ko sa sarili ko bago ako umalis na maganda ako."
Her positive outlook radiates whenever she is seen in public and even on the red carpet, as Marian always reminds herself to smile. "Kahit saan ako lumabas, maglakad ako, magsayaw ako, makikita mo palagi akong naka-smile. Kaya ewan ko kung bakit sinasabihan nila akong suplada. Bungisngisera na nga ako, e!" she laughs.
