Hours after Gerald Anderson's heroic deed during the typhoon "Ondoy" had been passed around Facebook, it was Jericho Rosales turn to be given the same accolade.

Filipino Facebook users had passed around photos of the ABS-CBN actor on a surfboard, swimming through deep flood in a village in Marikina City to help people affected by the calamity.

Captions with the pictures read: "Popular actor Jericho Rosales went out with surfboards and wakeboards to try to help stranded people. As of mid-afternoon yesterday, he was able to save a young boy, a grandmother, and a dog. GMH."

The pictures spread like wildfire in under an hour, and it became impossible to know who took and first posted them.
