Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2009 Bianca Manalo warmly greeted PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the launch of Dra. Vicki Belo's clinic at The Residences in Greenbelt recently.
Bianca was wearing a white tank top from TopShop, a skirt from H&M, and four-inch stiletto heels from Nine West. Topping off her ensemble, she piled on various accessories.
She said she buys her accessories from different stores, but her favorite purchases are from Aldo and H&M.
"Parang my friends, they tease me that I cannot go out daw without wearing a necklace. Kailangan daw kumpleto, which is true. Kailangan may singsing, may watch, may necklace, may earrings. Parang nasanay lang ako. 'Pag wala akong suot, para akong hubad," the beauty queen-turned- actress and TV host said.
SIMPLE DRESSING. With her job as co-host of ABS-CBN's newest noontime show, Happy, Yipee, Yehey!, Bianca said she goes out of her way to dress simply.
"Be yourself lang. Hindi kailangan bongga ang suot. Kahit naka-shorts at T-shirt. Gusto mo lang simple, para 'pag makita ka ng mga tao, they can say na, 'Kayo ko yung look na yan.'"
"Kasi, pangit naman na nasa noontime [show] ka, ang target mo masa, tapos ma-ano yung suot mo. Kailangan yung simple lang and natural," Bianca said.
The beauty queenalso shared her fashion philosophy.
"Beauty is less. Hindi mo kailangan magpa-bongga para ma-appreciate ka ng mga tao. Sa mga ganitong events, dito ka mag-inarte di ba?" she said.
