"When I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her," said Prince William in OK! magazine's collector's edition, which gives a comprehensive coverage of his wedding with Kate Middleton.
The 22-page feature has about 70 photos of that historic moment, and the fascinating details about the gowns, the guests, the cake and bouquet, including the royal couple's surprising breaks with tradition!
Did you know that royal brides were supposed to ride a carriage going to Westminster Abbey? But Catherine opted to use a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI because—she explained—she was still a Ms. Middleton at the time of her grand entrance. Surprisingly, the royal family also used cars themselves.
Frances Sales, editor-in-chief of OK! Philippines said, "We were so thrilled to see Prince William finally marry the love of his life, Catherine Middleton. It was amazing to see how they created the wedding they wanted—a lovely mixture of tradition and modernity.
"This is a couple who knows what they want and will do what they want, and yet, they are able to give what their public wants too. Will and Kate have a thoroughly modern love affair that is still as romantic as any fairy tale. Their wedding and love story captured our imagination and we will continue to watch them as they embark on their happy ever after."
The May issue of OK! also has exclusive interviews with Robert Pattinson and Johnny Depp, as well as a tribute to the late Elizabeth Taylor.
