Special guests are sure to spice up the Pinoys' celebration of the 113th Philippine Independence Day abroad.

GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Network's flagship international channel, brings Iza Calzado and Dennis Trillo to Hong Kong, plus, Dingdong Dantes and Rachelle Ann Go to Singapore this weekend, June 11 and 12.

On Saturday, the Andres De Saya female lead Iza Calzado and Sinner or Saint actor Dennis Trillo will be at the Conrad Hotel, where the Philippine Association of Hong Kong (PAHK) will hold a gala dinner to celebrate both the country's Independence Day and PAHK's 50th Anniversary.

On Sunday, the two stars will be part of the festivities in the Chater Garden, where the Philippine Independence Day Organizing Committee (PIDOC) hosts "Lakbay ng Kalayaan," which will be highlighted by cultural performances, exciting games, and other surprises for OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers).

Meanwhile, award-winning Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes and Party Pilipinas mainstay Rachelle Ann Go will join the Grand Fiesta 2011, which aptly names the celebration this year as "Pinoy, Malaya at Responsableng Bagong Bayani," at the Hong Lim Park in Singapore also on Sunday.

The event, which will be mounted by the Pilipino Independence Day Council Singapore (PIDCS), will feature Power Lunch, a unique lunch-and-learn session, where distinguished Filipinos will share bite-sized insights to the Pinoy community. There will also be literary and photography contests during the day plus other cultural activities.

GMA Pinoy TV subscribers in Hong Kong and Singapore will have the opportunity to meet and greet these Kapusostars at the GMA Pinoy TV booths, where treats and premium items await them.

"It is a unique opportunity for us to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day with our Kapusoviewers in other parts of the region through these events. We are thankful that these organizations have chosen to partner with us to make this historical day all the more unforgettable," shares Joseph T. Francia, vice president and head of operations for GMA International.
