They say that time is gold.
But for renowned jeweler Anita Chan, fashion designer Michelle Sison and advertising and marketing strategist Arnold Vegafria, time means elegance, style and luxury.
Coming from different fields and industries, these three personalities were united in celebrating the timepiece as a must-have accessory in the form of Valii watches.
The Italian watch brand is known for combining functionality, aesthetics and opulence into its products—something that everyone should look for when picking out their chronos.
The brand's latest collection called Gummy Scu is a perfect match for the gorgeously active kind with its chrome-plated face and colorful rubber straps.
Pieces from that collection plus other well-loved designs from 2009 were showcased in an intimate affair last Wednesday, July 20 at the Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati.
Products on display were sampled by some of Anita and Michelle's long-time clients and friends as well as a few of Arnold's showbiz talents.
Stars in attendance included Iya Villania, Pinky Amador, Samantha "Gracia" Lopez, Marc Solis, Kevin Cisco and Vincent Bueno, who was asked to sing "Happy Birthday" to Chan, Sison and Vegafria who all celebrated their birthdays this month.
Showbiz couples Gary Estrada and Bernadette Allyson, and Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza were also there, partly on a date, aptly spending quality "time."
The event was hosted by Grace Lee and Tessa Prieto-Valdez who had a grand time fooling around with their hunky male co-host named Abs.
