The Grand Prix this year is going to be "one fully-loaded circuit park" and "a whole weekend of festivities and treats for the entire family." Pinoy pride Charice (inset) is one of the 300 entertainers invited to perform for the event.

Over 10 hours of thrilling race action plus more than 300 entertainers make this year's Singapore Grand Prix even more exciting.

With just one ticket, Formula One enthusiasts can witness the action on Manila Bay Street Circuit, as well as the world-class performances of Shakira, Linkin Park, Boy George, Shaggy, Rick Astley, and our very own Charice, starting on September 16.

Sherina Tan, area director of Singapore Tourism, personally issued her invitation to all Filipinos, who she says have been avidly supporting this sports event.

"This is our way of promoting the country. Other than the race, activities in the different parts of Singapore will happen. There are parades, theatrical productions...it's combining sports and entertainment."

She adds, "Charice is going to be there. She's very talented, and the people from here will surely enjoy watching her."
