Coney Reyes on 100 Toys to Heaven: "It's just wonderful that many people participated, gave from their hearts kasi wala naman pilitan ito—giving from their hearts, just wanting to share whatever they could share with the less fortunate ones."

Before 100 Days to Heaven ends its run on ABS-CBN primetime last Friday, November 18, 2011, lead stars Coney Reyes and Xyriel Manabat took time out from their hectic schedules to grace one of the show's outreach projects.

Dubbed 100 Toys to Heaven, the gift-giving activity was organized to benefit the Larunungan: Kalinga Kapamilya Toy Drive and the Kamuning Elementary School.

During the official turnover ceremony held at the ABS-CBN Chapel last November 16, Coney and Xyriel were present to distribute the toys to the beneficiaries.

Representing the school was its principal Thelma Co, while Larunungan sent its deputy director Vicky Nibao.

Coney Reyes had fun interacting with the kids, asking them about Christmas, the reason for giving gifts, and why they should always be thankful to Jesus. She also reminded them to be "masunuring bata, mabait sa kapwa."

About the activity, the actress said, "It's just wonderful that many people participated, gave in from their hearts kasi wala naman pilitan eto... giving from their hearts, just wanting to share whatever they could share with the less fortunate ones."

Seeing her co-star Xyriel and the other cast members of 100 Days work together for a good cause make her heart happy.

"This is their heart really, just reach out to everyone to just make them feel the love, the love of God. Kasi, di ba we show the love of God through the gestures that we make, it's not naman lang na parang sinasabi mo na 'God loves you.' It has to be God uses us to show His love to others."

Aside from 100 Toys To Heaven, Coney also supports other social advocacies.

"As you know, I'm with Operation Blessing so we do this a lot in real life," Coney added.
