Yassi Pressman admits to getting "beauty star-struck" whenever she sees Party Pilipinas co-performers Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, and Carla Abellana.
She tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a one-on-one interview, "Parang I could just sit there in the audience and just watch them.
"Sobrang gaganda nila!"
But the person she admires most is not part of showbiz. Her biggest inspiration, she says, is Mr. Ronnie Pressman.
"Dad ko talaga ever since," she says. "He has always supported us, kahit anong gusto namin. And he always gave us a choice."
The 16-year-old star is no stranger to the limelight, as she started doing commercials since she was a kid.
She relates what her British dad usually tells her whenever she's confused, "What do you want? If you want to stop, just tell me, I won't force you into anything. I just want you to do what you want to do."
And when her job becomes stressful, "He's always been by my side. He's always there to listen and give me guidance.
"Kung puwede niya ibigay ang gusto ko and if it's good for me, he would do it talaga."
She also gets help from her dad when it comes to money matters.
To secure her future, "I don't spend my income," she says. "It's all saved. My dad controls some part of it that I give to the household. And then I ask from him. So he gives me. It's not too much."
Yassi is not a big spender.
She resumes, "Nasanay na rin kami na we don't ask a lot.
"All the work and everything, ever since I was six years old, most of it is in the bank for me and my sister's future, for college, or for whatever happens."
