Judy Ann Santos's black dress at the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival awards night last December 28, was award-worthy.
Bringing back the glamour of old Hollywood, the best actress nominee wore a custom-made black dress by her favorite designer Paul Cabral.
Its bateau neckline covered her entire torso in the front, but a low open V-cut exposed much of her skin at the back.
The outfit also flaunted her pre-pregnancy weight of 120-pounds. (CLICK HERE to read related article)
Adding about five inches to her height was a pair of black platform wedges, giving the dress a smooth finish at the bottom.
The simple design of the outfit allowed the actress to go heavy on accessories, which elegantly combined gold with pearls.
Her necklacemade of solid brass gold was a standout, with its collar serving as an anchor to a seven-piece mother of pearl pendant that cascaded down to her abdomen.
She also wore matching gold cuff bracelets on both wrists, an oval cocktail ring on her right finger, and her wedding band on the left.
Hair and make-up were also kept simple to allow focus on her neckpiece.
Her hair was tied into a classic clean bun, while her matte-finish make-up in earthy tones of brown and old rose for her lips was courtesy of Juan Sarte.
