"It's just the love and support, and all the amazing things... Alam ko na why I married her," WBC and WBO Bantamweight Champion Nonito Donaire, Jr. says about his wife Rachel Marcial whom he married again after three years. The couple first wed on August 8, 2008.

WHY NONITO MARRIED RACHEL.

"Grabe," simula ng 28-year-old current World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) bantamweight champion.

"It's just the love and support, and all the amazing things...

"Just going to the church na naghihintay ako for her to walk down the aisle, there are so many occasions na talagang iiyak ako.

"Ilang beses na naiiyak ako. And even saying my vows, grabe talaga.

"It's such a blessing, especially with my friends, family, and all the people who are here.

"Grabe, I am just so happy, and everybody's havin' such a great time.

"So, wala akong masabi but, just a blessing and I'm really happy!" masayang pahayag ni Jun (palayaw ni Nonito).

WHY 11-11.

"And for me, number one ang wife ko.

"Basta, 11-11 is lucky for both of us."

WHERE ARE HIS PARENTS?

Paliwanag niya, "My parents, well, they declined the offer...not declined, but more like, my sister called me and sabi nila, mahihiya daw sila because of the recent ano with the family, yung family feud."

"Well, we're okay. But it took a long time of fighting and, of course, it will take some time to fully develop that bond again.

"So, it's just time. But, nag-uusap kami. We talk naman when we need to.

"And we were there," sabi pa ng boxer na may palayaw ring "The Filipino Flash."

PRE-WEDDING FIGHT.

Ako, mautak naman ako, when it comes to fighting.

"Pero sabi niya, 'Go for it. I know you want to fight.'

"Sabi niya, 'But I support you regardless kung may tama ka, or my cuts ka, or whatever. I support you 100 percent, and I'll be there.'

"Yun ang sabi niya, so we decided na, OK, I'll fight."

DONAIRE'S BOXING STYLE.

"I kinda look at it as a 'Flash Step!'" natatawang sabi ni Nonito.

"You step with the right and then you come up with an upper cut or a hook.

"But you switch stances every time. Nagsu-switch yung feet.

I want him to come up and punch me.

"Although I'm wary about his head butt.

"Even in his interviews, [Narvaez said] 'we accomplished what we need to to do, which is not to get knocked out.'

"Napahiya nga ako with the people that showed up [in Madison Square Garden] because I [wanted] to knock him out.

"Sinasabi ko the whole week [before the fight], that I'm gonna knock him out.

"And I did my best to knock him out.

"But unfortunately, the crowd did not deserve how the fight went.

"And of course the people that watched the fight did not deserve that kind of fight," panghihinayang ni Nonito.

GREATER THAN PACQUIAO?

"No. For me, I just do my best," ang pakumbababa niyang sagot.

"It's not about kung sino ang mas magaling, or sino ang mas accomplished.

"For me, it's knowing where I'm heading and at the end of it all, sana mas maka-inspire ako ng mga bata o ng mga taong nangangailangan ng inspiration."

Lumaki rin daw kasi siyang may kahinaan at laging kinakantiyawan.

"I was always sucking my thumb. So because of that, they always [bullied] me.

"And now, I never really thought that I would become a world champion."

"At the end of it all, it's not how much I accomplished or how far I can go.

"It is how many people I can inspire to do better for themselves, to do better for our nation, and in this lifetime that God has given us," pahayag pa ni Nonito.

NONITO'S PREDICTION.

Aniya, "Siguro eight rounds, knock out. But again, not to disrespect Marquez. Marquez is gonna be [a] tough guy."

May mensahe ba siya para kay Manny?

"I think Manny trained really hard and I wish him the best. I know that he's very inspired to do this and I believe in him.

"I've always believed in his power, I've always believed in his speed, and I always believe in his ability to adapt and to be better each time he goes to the ring.

"So, wala akong dapat ipag-alala. Manny will be sensational in this fight."
